We all know the big ones, but have any favorite recipe sites ran by individuals, families, etc? We have made several recipes from Natasha's Kitchen ( natashaskitchen.com/recipes/ ). Every recipe has been amazing. She has a lot of Ukrainian and Russian dishes, as well as French, German, etc. I've also had some hits from Six Sister's Stuff ( www.sixsistersstuff.com/ ). I've tried a few desserts from Chocolate Covered Katie ( chocolatecoveredkatie.com/ ). I don't buy into the whole "it's healthy!" when it comes to desserts, but I'll still make them and eat them She does a lot of vegan, dairy-free, nut-free, etc recipes if you have to cook/bake for someone with allergies/special diets. What sites do you use? Always on the lookout for new things to cook.

I'll add the links tomorrow from my laptop, but two Asian blogs I frequent are Tin Eats, by an Australian woman of (I think?) Chinese descent, and Korean Bapsang, by a Korean American. Tin Eats brought me my base Asian brown sauce, and Korean Bapsang has given me recipes to duplicate all of the wonderful Korean meals cooked by a friend when I was couch surfing. it's awfully hard to quantify "J's handful" of X spice in a dish as I was taking notes. ETA: links! Korean bapsangTin Eats

I've never had a bad recipe from smittenkitchen. Most recently we did a one-pot farro recipe that was outstanding.
I've also had really good luck with recipe collections on buzzfeed of all things. Like there's just a list of recipes for soups, or spring, or kale. They pull mostly from lesser known sites and i've made some truly great things off these lists.

I'll check these out Question about the thugkitchen site... Is it searchable? I think my son would get a kick out of it, but the search bar thing doesn't work on my chromebook (haven't tried it out on my regular laptop). If it's searchable, that will make it way easier than trying to scroll through pages of random recipes.
