ROFL!!
The Patriots won the SuperBowl in 2015 and we then got 110 inches of snow.
The Patriots just won the SuperBowl and we are getting snow for the 3rd time since Thursday and are under our second blizzard watch in the same time period and getting more snow on Thursday. :-0. ROFL!!!

I would gladly take on a snowstorm for my team not to have completely sucked the last 10 years. I miss caring about football past September  |

I would gladly take on a snowstorm for my team not to have completely sucked the last 10 years. I miss caring about football past September You have to get a secondary team you can root for after September.
I never took much interest in football until about 25 years ago. I joined the office football pool--basically to just be social. Well, I won the whole thing! It was so funny, all these guys making their predictions and kind of kidding me about mine. I didn't know much, I just took the betting line and (at least for that year) it worked out! But every week making the predictions kind of got me interested in other teams and how they were doing. So now if my team is not involved, I have backups!

I actually started following a Canadian team this year that was competitive so I got my fix in. |

I remember when I had a girlfriend who got involved in our football pool just for fun. She bet on the colors of the uniforms. She did quite well.... I knew a woman who picked based on which cities had better shopping. she also did quite well. go figure. |

Someone in the office said all the oddball schemes for picking teams did well because we weren't fanatically tied to a team. Some people in the pool would pick their team even when it was clear they would probably lose! |
