As rukh already pointed out, those figures are from the second week of Jan (before the swearing in) . While Obama was still in office.  Thanks President Obama!

Well, we do expect this for the next eight years from Dezi's side of the aisle.
I think everyone should be watching these White House business meetings.
Today we saw a virtual who's who's of business people, and they look enthused.
This certainly looks good for the country.
 The manufacturing in the U.S. will be coming back due to tax rate changes, and a government that will no longer burden it's business community with regulations other countries do not have to follow.
President Trump has had more meetings with business executives in two weeks than President Obama did in his first two months in office.
Remember when Obama entered office? Business was falling over a cliff.
All that was offered was feel good meetings with Reverend Al Sharpton, and community groups who cannot accomplish anything......

The Donald today was ranting a bit on how the low unemployment rates wearn't really the true figure....so many who gave up looking for work and in a way he is correct...except, and again, he leaves out the fact that that has always been the case on those figures...also the facts in those bnot looking for work any longer is the fact that so many baby boomers are retiring..some doing part time work if it makes financial sense and if u took the real amount of those not looking for work but should be, the unemployment rate would only go up a bit...something like 5.2%...not bad, not bad at all..[ That was Obamas peoples figures..the artickles author did his own figurung...came up a bit higher..5.8%..still not bad, not bad at all]

I think you are absolutely correct. If Pence didn't get sidetracked by his desire for a theocracy he would be even more of a force.
