Ha Long Bay, then a river cruise on AMA Waterways to My Tho (outside HoChiMinh city, aka Saigon. The cruise starts in Camboida, near Angor Wat, includes Phenom Penh and ends up in So Vietnam.

I haven't been there, but a fellow nurse is in love with Vietnam.
She and her husband go there every year.

We stayed in Hong Kong for a couple of days one summer a while ago. All I remember from that visit was the cable car ride to see the Big Buddha. It is an impressive sight and is very beautiful . www.nextstophongkong.com/big-buddha/

Have a good time. Take pictures. I went to Hong Kong on vacation 40 years ago and had a good time. Had a topaz and diamond ring along with a cashmere overcoat made for me.

I spent time inShanghai and Hong Kong earlier this year. Shanghai was mostly work, but the subway system was fun. I went to a water village outside of the city- that was kinda blah.
In Hong Kong I did the Peak Tram and that was the best part (I was there 2 days and kinda over China by that time). If I went back I would do it again at night. The pictures were amazing! If I had more time I might have gotten some dresses made.
Oh and pineapple buns (which have no pineapple in them) are my favorite things to eat. They also had interesting mints and sodas at the 7-11. I liked the kiwi soda and lime and apple mints.
