Well, howdy gee whiz...it has just now dawned on former ObamaCare supporter Howard Schultz (Founder of Starbucks) that ObamaCare is a job-killer.
"When I was invited to the White House prior to health care being reformed, I was very supportive of the president's plan..."
(Nevermind that the President never put out a plan)
"...I think as the bill is currently written and if it was going to land in 2014 under the current guidelines, the pressure on small businesses, because of the mandate, is too great"
Well, don't sweat it Howie- you know your azz is getting a "waiver".

Well the HoR Republicans could work on fixing the current health care crisis, that is, when they're not working on such monumental issues such as defunding NPR or redefining rape. They had all of 2001-2006 and they have 2011 to do something. You know what we call people who scream and shout but don't play? Bleacher warmers. Give me a P! ... R! ... I! ... O! ... R! ... I! ... T! ... I! ... E! ... S! What's that spell, HoR Republicans? Well? ... Hello? Anyone there? Boehner ... Boehner

Almost funny. Almost. Keep working on it, you'll be ready for Olbermann's snarky old seat (hopefully, it's been cleaned)...

I agree that a failure to address important issues is a still a failure no matter who is in control, but it it is funny that after only 3 months, the left is so vocal with their whining about republican house majority's failure to address the same issues that the dems failed to address in 4 years that they had filibuster-proof control over both the house and senate.

Why is he a big lib? I never heard of the guy-and doesn't Starbucks allow open carry in their stores? Why are small business owners so concerned anyway- don't you folks keep saying every business in the country is just going to quit offering group plans and pay the fine? Of course people hunting for jobs are going to want insurance plans-is that anything new?
I wouldn't worry about the waiver- they all expire in the middle of Obama's 2nd term ;D

Obama care is one year old today..so the question is does it live up to all it's hype and spin by both Obama and Pelosi?
I am only familar with one small part which is prescription drug costs and I don't see any savings at all ..And as a matter of fact I see prices much higher than 1 year ago.. Although it may be that the actual prescription drug savings are still a work in progress and may take a few more years to realize..??

Americans are going to have to grow up and stop being fooled by the promises of politicians telling them they can have something for nothing.

You remind me of the entertainment industry. Those who don't have the talent do something, but wants to be in the game, becomes a critic. Or are you actually trying to be funny? Maybe it's just me; I'm just not into canned responses.
That's just about the same line as last time, except you used Perez Hilton. Dressing up a dysfunctional one trick pony in new clothes isn't going to make him do a better trick. Like I said, leave the comedy to the experts.
I see by replying to a supposed snarky message with a substance-free snarky message, you're trying to earn as many hypocrisy points as possible. I don't see anywhere to click yet to give you one, but if they do in the future, you can remind me and I'll give you a few.
Sure, but only if someone mentions it. Otherwise, steady your course to Partisian Bashville. Toot! Toot!
It's even funnier then, Obama got it from day one. goose/gander ; that was then/this is now
What four years would that be? I'd especially would like to see where you got 60 or more Democratic senators in the 2006 election. And Republicans had five years before that, and they have now to fix it. Do you find that funnier and are you yukking it up and slapping your knee yet?
Could you freshen up your macroed reply? That empty line is long past its expiration date. Oh, and since the politicians told them, quote who told them such a thing. Or is this another case of non-existent people being fooled by non-existent politicians?
The it should be real easy to show us.

You know what empty line is long past its expiration date? Gee, where do I start? "The United States is the only industrialized, westernized, pastuerized nation without universal health care". There's that one. There's the, "Health Care costs are the leading cause of bankruptcy". Or how about, "There seven hundred billion zillion uninsured", or...well, I don't really want to bother becase it's evident you don't read my posts anyway because your next line is that I should show you why Howard Schulz being a "Big Lib" is self-evident...Um, how to put this... SELF EVIDENT actually means something. By definition if something is SELF EVIDENT then I don't have to "show us" anything. It's SELF EVIDENT. Try to keep up.

fixing the current health care crisis
I still think the way to "fix" health care is to address the issues that got it where it's at. 1. Pass laws against frivolous lawsuits 2. Cap the amounts awarded in court to reasonable levels 3. Lower providers medical malpractice insurance. Oh & stop hospitals from bill padding by requiring them to itemize bills in common language (like a mucus collection system should be listed as a Kleenex).

Oh & stop hospitals from bill padding by requiring them to itemize bills in common language (like a mucus collection system should be listed as a Kleenex). I had a good idea (imo) how to fix the tort problem- eliminate all suits for ordinary negligence, eliminate malpractice insurance and require all practitioners to pay into a general claims fund where injured parties can be compensated- a simple medical review board/patient advocate system could be substituted. BUT, suits would be allowed to continue for gross negligence/fraud,etc. especially in the case of hospital corporations and the like, with all punitive damage awards to be paid into the patient claims fund-not a plaintiff's pocket. A medical error is not a lottery ticket. BTW there are already mechanisms in place to stop frivolous lawsuits and I don't buy the whole tort reform act- but in the case of the health care system it is in the best interests of the system to cut as many expenses out of it as possible. Insurance companies and the employer based model are what got us where we are at, coupled with the greed, fraud, and abuse of the providers/faux providers. Only the patients and the taxpayers are getting screwed in this country.

It's SELF EVIDENT everything you say (except for the explanation of self evident) is false. I don't have to "show us" anything in terms of proof, and since I declared it so and even capped it, it must be so. I winz!

But just in case you really don't get it, please answer the following:
Someone who says, "When I was invited to the White House prior to health care being reformed, I was very supportive of the president's plan..." is:
a) Obviously a right wing TEA Party Protester b) A moderate who was temporarily bamboozled by Obama's charisma, amazing best-ever-in-the-history-of-the-universe speaking ability, and personal charm, or c) A Big Lib

I dunno. Last Big Lib I know about was Ted Kennedy. Now that was a BIG lib!! There was also that guy from New Jersey, Nadler I think his name was, who was also pretty big, but Ted was humongous.
