Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1/2 lb of bacon 1 cup chopped onions 1 tblsp steak seasoning shredded mozzarella cheese shredded cheddar cheese 1 package of pizza dough I cut up the bacon into small pieces, and cooked on a skillet. Once the bacon was done, I put it aside in a bowl, and then put in the ground beef. (Once the bacon is done, you can then saute the onions. One of the kids doesn't like onions, so I didn't use it tonight.) Once the ground beef was cooked, I added the bacon back in, tossed in the steak seasoning, mixed it up, and threw in the shredded mozzarella cheese. Mixed it all up, causing the cheese to melt, then put it aside in a bowl. Rolled out the pizza dough on a sheet, then put the 'garbage' mixture on it. Covered it with shredded cheddar cheese and more mozzarella. Rolled up the dough like a big jelly roll, and closed in the sides. Baked it in the oven at 425 for 20 minutes. It came out looking like this: Slice it up, and either eat it plain or use a dipping sauce. I'm sure ranch dressing would work well. I am probably going to make this again for the Super Bowl. The kids loved it!! They've already asked me to make it more often. The next time, I'm going to add bell peppers and onions for a more robust taste. A video on how to make it:

I might do this but with all vegetables and cheeses, I think that would be yummy!

I might do this but with all vegetables and cheeses, I think that would be yummy! That would definitely work. I also think some thinly sliced skirt steak, onions, and bell peppers (I don't like mushrooms) with some mozzarella cheese would make for a nice philly cheese steak version of garbage bread.

I know that as Stromboli. Works great and can be filled with anything. I'm now inspired to make one!

Only difference between this and a stromboli is that you typically pile everything in one spot, then roll is over in a stromboli, while you're supposed to spread it out in the 'garbage bread'. You can also use the same ingredients, fold it over just once like an omelette, and it would be a calzone.

That sounds delicious. Not that I'm into cooking, but for me that would a meal for a few days. Thanks for sharing this.
