Do you know what will happen if the free market has to decide? Commercials. That's right, effing commercials. Right now, we can listen to NPR without having to spend 10 minutes every 20 minutes listening to car salesmen, insurance peddlers, bed merchants, hand lotion enthusiasts, drug companies, and a hundred other entities trying to hawk their wares. Liberal or not, surely we can all agree that a radio station lacking in commercials is a good thing, can't we? That alone is worth funding them.

Your opinions and diatribe are the same as 2009 so why not the rebuttal being the same. No, please, by all means continue to embarrass yourself...I was not trying to stop you... I don't mind being embarrassed , that there are many who don't look favorable on a black man as POTUS , it's a fact, to bad it isn't from just a even recent time, 2009 , but to dismiss it as just a LOL, I'll take the embarrassment{not} and agree with the poster, it is a shame but one that one just has to live with.

Yep, I distinctly remember that. This was followed by accusations of Obama being a narcissist and how he was trying to be a celebrity or how he was in "campaign mode."

Western allies stepped up military pressure against Moammar Gadhafi, sending warships and fighter planes to the region to enforce a U.N. authorized no-fly zone, even as Libyan forces shelled a rebel-held city despite declaring a cease-fire. President Barack Obama demanded Friday that Gadhafi halt military assaults against civilians and said that if the Libyan leader did not stand down the United States would join in military action against him. Obama said the United States would not deploy ground troops in Libya or use force beyond protecting people. He told reporters at the White House that thousands of Libyans could die if Gadhafi is not forced to pull his troops back from rebel strongholds. He said humanitarian aid must reach those in need. Obama said Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton would travel to Paris on Saturday to join in a meeting of allies called to discuss next steps in Libya, where Gadhafi has launched a brutal crackdown against rebels trying to end his 42-year reign. Obama's remarks came less than 24 hours after the United Nations Security Council voted to authorize military action to prevent the killing of civilians by Libyan forces. www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42145571/ns/world_news-mideastn_africa/?gt1=43001
