Former President Obama, is on another vacation, this time in Palm Springs California, and not Hawaii. Three weeks from his winter vacation, and first day of his government pension! www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/obamas-arrive-in-california-for-rain-delayed-vacation/ar-AAm4S0N?li=BBnb7KzI thought they were staying in D.C. because they wanted the girls to stay in school there. P.S. Wonder if Donald offered his Palm Beach estate to them for a couple of weeks of relaxation at the new winter White House? Nice to say former President Obama!

He doesn't have a job to go to. I thought he loved Hawaii. swamp, he does deserve a well deserved vacation. Regardless of my political feelings, eight years in that job is a killer emotional job. It takes a very special person to do it. Few can do it. Fewer, can do it correctly. History will decide whether he was one of the "fewer". I acknowledge he did an adequate job for eight years. It was much better than I had expected from him. I hope most here will not consider this a negative response.......

In four years, would you say Trump did an adequate job, if his performance was much higher than you anticipate, would you consider it effusive praise, or an outstanding performance based on the your present critique of him?

As for being in Palm Springs, it's a lot closer to his younger daughter's school than Hawaii, yes? And I imagine his daughter brought her school work with her. I know when my dad took us out of school so he could go on vacation, school work assignments were given us by our teachers to complete while we were away and turn into them when we returned home.

He doesn't have a job to go to. I think its fairly common to take a vacation between jobs. Especially if you haven't picked your next one yet.

I liked the rest of your comment. he loves Hawaii because it's home, he grew up there. for a regular break during your job, familiarity on vacation is good. to completely unwind after a mentally taxing 8 years? I'm not surprised he wanted to go somewhere completely different.

After 8 years, with all of the carp he put up with, I figure he & the family can vacation anywhere they want. I'm sure it's a luxury to get to sleep in with THAT job.

I imagine "sleep in" was never part of the equation after Friday. After 8 years in the Presidency, you cannot turn your switch off on day one of retirement.

Well Trump has been in 10 days and already taking a vacation. The stress must be getting to the thin skinned individual.
