I am going with yes for my plan being met, because I allow up to $40 in unplanned expenses and spent only $15.50 in parking (there was another $3 spent on Saturday). This week should be a lot calmer than last week, though I am going to the Seahawks game on Friday night (friend who is a season ticket holder not going to the game, so gave me his ticket), and that will result in some sort of dinner spending. Plus this weekend will be Renaissance Faire. I did not go to Safeway over the weekend because the only thing I needed was olives (for a pasta salad I was making for today), but that did mean I ran to the grocery store last night just for olives. I am trying to get an appointment on Friday at the beauty school for a haircut. We'll see how that works out.

3catslady - I am glad you got your fridge. Definitely a need. And I love that you are able to recycle your sheets. That's fabulous.

$100.43 for groceries, $20 for both meals today.
I think I prefer going to the store on Wednesdays instead of Sundays. Not as crowded and the shelves are fuller.

Just Starbucks yesterday, and should be just Starbucks today. BFF is coming over this evening to hang out. We're going to eat left overs and she's going to do her nails in advance of the football game tomorrow. Super exciting evening. I do need to pull the cash out of the ATM today for Faire this weekend. And that way I can limit myself to cash on hand and not take a card with me to Faire.

shane - enjoy the Ren Faire, if it's anything like ours it's a special type of crazy. Not really my thing but my daughters love to go in their Disney princess outfits and the worker/characters will address them as princesses and bow. Plus last year, someone hid a bunch of craft type clear sparkly smooth stones throughout the woods and DD5 heard them called dragon's tears and she was totally convinced.

Did not meet the plan last week, as I bought a pair of pants from Value Village (I have 2 pair of black slacks. I bought a pair of dark brown slacks.), and then went and got myself a mani/pedi on Friday. I've been wanting one for a while, but have been too busy for it to be a reality. I had a last minute change to Friday's schedule which opened up a lot of time, so I was able to go get my hair cut, grab the pants at Value Village (and drop off a donation load from my closet purge last weekend), and then go get a mani/pedi in advance of the football game. And had a great time at the game. I did really well at Faire this year and spent less than $35 (and $20 of that was on supporting our favorite local Celtic band). I was then able to use the cash I'd pulled out for Faire and spend it on breakfast on Sunday morning, so that worked well. azucena - We do Ren Faire every year (I think we've missed one year in the last 15). I have a good time with good friends, and get to hear some great musical acts, and watch Her Majesty's Tournament. I love the jousting. My Terrier isn't as big of a fan, but it was overall a good day. This coming week/weekend should be much quieter than this last one, which is good. I had a great weekend - football game, Faire, Sunday breakfast with one group of friends and Sunday afternoon and dinner with another, but I need a slightly quieter week coming up. After tonight, of course, tonight I'm having friends over to watch Ladyhawke (in honor of the eclipse) and eat tacos.

Just a quick visit as I am in the middle of chores and housework. I have been trying to stay close to home and have done fairly well so far. This week I may run to the craft store as well as look for some comfortable walking shoes. Have a trip with friends planned in a few weeks and would like something comfortable as I am sure that a lot of walking will be involved and my older pairs are in bad shape. Will have some expenses with the trip later but will cash flow a lot of it. I put money aside for travel so it the opportunity arises I have some available so I don't have to pass up the adventure. Except for groceries and gas I have been not spending on anything not needed.
I have been trying to get several items finished so that I can add them to the Etsy store and have them available for the craft show season which begins in less than 6 weeks for me. I don't do many shows compared to what is available but want to make enough to pay for the supplies and entry fees. Currently trying to make items from what I have on hand. Just finished one necklace set, have a pin as well as a bracelet started and have quite a few items I have to photograph for my inventory.

Fairly quiet week so far with very little. Monday was tacos and Ladyhawke. Yesterday was originally going to be IHOP (we have free pancakes because the Seahawks got over 100 yards rushing in their last game), but one of the friends I was supposed to go with needed to cancel for a night at home, and I was totally on board with that. We might try going to IHOP tomorrow, or we won't worry about it.

$14 supper.
I'm having a hard time getting back in the habit of eating meals at home instead of out. I've eaten out 4 times this week and twice at home. I'm going for 3 times out next week and 3 times at home. Sunday is my eating out day because I get groceries and do laundry.

I stayed pretty close to home this week and with the predicted rainy weather think that next week will be more of the same. We are currently in the middle of a thunderstorm -- I think one of the outer bands of Harvey. If you pray please remember those in the aftermath as well as those still under the power of this storm. Tuesday is the 12th anniversary of Katrina and there are several areas within the area that are still not back to normal after all this time. Those under the current situation will have a long road to recovery under the best of circumstances.

So last week, I didn't even do all the planned spending, most notably skipping CostCo. But that does mean I will probably need to go this weekend, but it might not be until next Monday. This is going to be a very rough week as today is Pop Tart's birthday, and Wednesday is mine and C's anniversary, and I don't get to spend either day with either of them. I am blessed in that I have wonderful people here looking out for me; plus I have counseling today. I also need to pick up my thyroid med from the pharmacy today, because I forget to request my refill in time for it to be mailed to me. This coming weekend, I'll be volunteering at the Roller Derby national championships Fri-Sun. That will get me admission to the event all three days, but I don't think it covers a meal while I'm there, so I need to plan for that. Tomorrow, I'm going to see the Terracotta Warriors exhibit with friends, probably grabbing dinner beforehand. I bought my ticket for that this morning.

The week has been going to plan so far, but I have now added plans for Friday that weren't part of the original plan. Some friends wanted to start the long weekend with dinner and drinks downtown, so I'll be heading from my volunteering at the Roller Derby Tournament straight up to dinner with them. It will require me to pay for parking one more time, but since I don't drink dinner should not take me outside of the $40 "unplanned" I allow myself each week.

Not much to report. Had a long response but lost it. Staying close to home and out of the stores so except for needed items have not spent on anything. Keeping busy as my craft show season is about to start at the end of this month.
