tomorrow is slated to be sunny and seasonable (high 40s/low 50s) so we will be taking a walk along the canal for sure. Jealous! It has been POURING since at least 2am. No sign of it stopping. I just want summer! I know. I looked at the weather today and 40-50 and gray as far as the eye can see. It's better than april blizzards, but I just want some sunshine and warmth!!

We're getting a noreaster tomorrow/tomorrow night, potentially with snow. I actually like snow but by March/April it's time for the nice weather to come... I have such cabin fever!

It's been in the 50s and raining here. We need the dog park! These two dogs have been cooped up inside for too long.

I have such cabin fever! we shouldn't see snow, cael. the last map I saw, it was out near my sister. you and I are too far east. so as always, the canal was a wind tunnel. but we still got a good 2 miles in. the golden is giving me depressed stinkeye as I make my lunch. we will run around out back a little before I finally head out, too.

It has been raining all morning. And so windy that the rain is horizontal. My head currently feels like it will explode at any given moment.

It's been down pouring on and off this afternoon. I forced myself out of bed early to get my workout in before work, so that I could go out for drinks with a friend tonight. The rain is making me rethink this, and just want to hunker down at home.

Another 15 minutes at lunch time. Yesterday was less snacky (is that a word?) but not great. Today, so far so good. We'll see how I do when I get home, that's usually the worst time for me.

Why does good for you and also wonderful tasting never seem to show up in the things I want to snack on list?! Does that even exist?

PT tonight. I am moving beyond ROM and on to strength! Hubs never put my bike on the trainer last weekend so hopefully I remember to remind him this weekend.
There is a trail cleanup happening Saturday morning at our local brewery taproom. They do this every year for their anniversary oarty since the building is along the Schuylkill River Trail and they get a lot of bike and foot traffic (my running club meets there every Thursday night). I'm probably good for no more than 15 minutes of work, but there is coffee and donuts for volunteers, and a free 8 oz beer, so I might have to try to get up Saturday morning!

I say snacky. Also, when you've inadvertently eaten more of something because you weren't paying attention, that's called a snaccident.

I am an occasional snacker; I rarely snack between meals unless my daily caloric intake is too low. Because I eat small meals, I often have my daily fruit allotment after breakfast or dinner. I do not restrict any types of food, but if I overeat, I feel very uncomfortable.

Nanny picked girls up so I went to the gym. Swam. It was awesome. Fewer breaks, faster recovery time. After i got out of the pool and noticed in mirror my shoulders look bigger. STarting to look like a swimmer. Sure I still look like a sausage stuffed into my race suit, but progress! Yay!

Only made it to 8k steps today and my food was a mess. I am stress eating and I didn't prep breakfast OR lunch last night since i worked so late. I have some food packed for tomorrow. Key for the weekend is to have food prepped to avoid another shitshow. Scheduled a massage for Saturday as a treat for all my extra hours. Really trying to work on self care!

Just had the best salad. Lettuce, feta, walnuts, apples, cranberries, and light raspberry vinegarette. Yum. Normally I would have added chicken, but it's Friday.

I had a sub at Subway. Better than going to Popeye's and getting chicken I suppose. I stayed within my calorie allotment yesterday, but went way over on sugar. Naturally. At least I exercised again during lunch. Right?

I am so freaking sore from my massage. The problem with being a wreck is that massage therapists want to fix you. They want to work the problem areas... which is good, and I needed it. But I probably should have said... "I just want to relax, resist all natural urges to try and fix me" I have a massage scheduled on the 22nd... I'll aim for relaxation then. Busy weekend. Food choices were all over the map. I have been busy and out and about but didn't hit 10k steps yesterday or today. But. Food is being prepped for the week... and I am aiming to hit the gym this week despite the double workload. Last week I was up against an end of the month deadline but that has passed. I can make the gym happen.

Weekly check in
Step goal not close. I was doing okay until Friday. That is when I started feeling poorly. So I missed the goal by over 10000. I did okay on eating. Weight did not go up.
Still not feeling 100% so I think this week's goal will be 70000. Hope to get a walk in at lunch today. The rest of the week it is supposed to rain so it will be difficult to get in an outdoor walk. Going to try to curb in between meal snacking.
Have a great week everyone.

Mother Nature decided to grace me with her presence. I'm bloated and crampy. I don't have good feelings about today's weigh in.

I'm late on my weekly check-in.
Gym: 3, count them, THREE times! Woo-hoo! Stairs: 140 flights (only worked four days) Walks: Got in three good ones between crappy weather days
Eating was not good though. My ODS enlisted in the Marines and leaves today. I think it was stress and sadness eating. I'll get back on track now. He brought me a Cinnabon the other day, and of course I had to eat it to be polite OMG so good, and because he knows me he got the extra frosting for it too. Totally worth it, but I looked 5 months pregnant after eating it. The bread just completely bloats me, and I really just need to stay away from it.
I took today off for his swearing-in, so I'll prep my proteins for the week and hopefully hit the gym this afternoon.
Have a good week everyone!

Ugh, been bad at tracking on ww and not eating great. Portions and amounts not bad, quality is bad - yesterday I had a bagel w/ cream cheese, Sonic popcorn chicken and onion rings, then a slice of pizza later and like three coffees in there (and some fruit, lol, not that that made a difference). I'm up half a pound from last week but that isn't bad. Back at it this week - weather won't be awful so hoping I can get some short walks in.

Well, weight wasn't bad, 163. I don't know if I'll make it to the gym today though. We'll see how I feel then. Right now it's a big no.
