Had a early morning dentist appointment so I did not have time to check in the morning.
I hit my step goal by only 171 steps. Considering my bad eating habits I am surprised my weight remained steady.
Going to keep the goal same for this week. I have 2 after work meetings including one I need to leave for in 10 minutes.
Keep up the good work everyone.

First PT appointment went well. Just testing my range of motion and going over simple exercises to do at home wore me down. So instead of cooking chickpea curry for dinner I am laying on the couch hoping hubs got my pizza text.

I'm about to travel for a week straight starting Wednesday. Yikes. There is a pool and workout facilities at both hotels, so aim thinking about setting a really dumb goal for myself like swimming a mile every day I'm gone.

firm catered in breakfast... of course it was bagels, croissants, pastries, donuts and fresh fruit. i ate a croissant, hardboiled egg and half of a muffin. (600 calories of emptiness) I hit the salad bar in the building for lunch and I'm not sure what to make for dinner tonight, but i'll make it fit in the calorie allotment. Signed up for the gym today, plan to hit it first thing in the morning. literally, sleeping in a workout top... rolling out of bed, potty, brush teeth, put on shoes and pants and out the door. I CAN DO THIS! i need something i can shove in my mouth before working out, not sure what that would be though... I always try to eat before the gym. Could be an apple, a handful of almonds, today it was a banana. That way I'm not starving when I leave and am less likely to hit the drive through on the way home.

Got back from the gym and there's a huge storm. We're on tornado watch. I should have stayed home and eaten chocolate instead.

When I work out in the morning before work, i don't eat until after my workout. On the weekends, when I have more time, I eat breakfast before working out. There is such a difference in how I feel/how much energy I have when I eat first. But I just can't make myself get up earlier than 5 and the gym is the opposite way of work, so it's easier to go to the gym, then home to eat/shower. Also, I may turn into an evening work out person yet. I always said I'd rather do it in the morning before I had a chance to make 100 excuses to not go, but I am struggling so hard. Part of that is b/c I no longer have easy access to an outdoor, populated running/walking path. For as much as I like where I currently live, most mornings I think about how I'd give it all up to move back to Chicago just for the lakefront path. Too bad I need my current well paying job so badly.

I got my gym reimbursement check for $150 yesterday! Going to start looking for an apartment-sized treadmill I can get for the den. I would definitely walk/jog in there evenings after the baby goes to bed to get a little extra exercise... there are even TVs in there so I could put some netflix on.

i choked down a little oatmeal before hopping on the train. Got in 40 minutes on the treadmill (already over 7000 steps today and it's 9am!) I won't lie, I felt pretty crappy after... I was so unsteady from a floor that was practically bouncing from people running on treadmills and I am fairly certain my blood sugar dropped. I know that my A1C is probably in the pre-diabetic range, i can tell by the drops i've been experiencing. Hopefully that will get better soon.
Now that I've had some breakfast and settled in, i feel fine. Not energized sadly... but happy it is over and out of the way. mornings really might not be my workout time, but i'll try for a few weeks before i decide for sure.

Well I didn't make it to the gym tonight. I did, however, manage to make it to McDonald's. A six-piece chicken McNuggets only has about 18g of carbs for anyone who was wondering.

Back from the gym. Making dinner. I had to cut up more salad stuff anyway, so I'm making wraps. Whole wheat tortillas, chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion, and probably a drizzle of ranch. I'm also making seasoned fries and I regret nothing. I am baking them instead of frying, however. And I haven't had fast food in almost two weeks, so I'm throwing myself a bone.

you're doing better than me. I didn't walk the pups or take them to the park today b/c it was rainy and gross. I've also somehow "found" 6lbs that surprised me on the scale this am. and I ate a snack tonight after dinner. tomorrow, it had better not rain. I have to get back out there moving again. in my head, I know those lbs are salt and that I'm actually overhydrated as usual during the work week. I have a 30oz mug on my desk that I'm constantly refilling with ice water.

15000 steps today
I was starving most of the day, but MFP gave me soooooo many calories today.
Dinner was a bunless turkey burger with avocado and an egg on top and a side salad. Yum! Salad packed for tomorrow.
P.s. I see nothing wrong with baked fries. Potatoes aren't horrible, just have them in moderation. They have some good vitamins. I am pro potato. Your body likes it better than bread or sugar. 😀

I just had a brilliant idea. could someone remind me tomorrow night when I'm whining about how much the office has cleared out and that I'm watching the clock - close the office door and crank out some sit ups and push ups.
I have no clue how many push ups I can still do (if any...?) but sit ups or crunches shouldn't be too hard to bang out a couple sets when I have time.

I ate pretty well yesterday, and stayed within my WW points until I caved and got a donut in the afternoon... then I had a smart one for dinner, but DH made rigatoni with some alfredo sauce one of his cooks at work made, and he put the last of the shredded chicken we had in it, and omg I couldn't stop eating it. need to try to do better today... I'm still not really eating particularly unhealthy (except for the donut), I just need to watch how much I'm eating... weighed myself this morning and was still about what I was 2 days ago. Ugh. On a plus note I'm wearing an older and smaller work shirt today, and it's tight but it fits! I think I've lost 10-15lbs since starting WW and most of it's come off my belly, so shirts and buttoning my pants is feeling better.

I'm going to try to get to the gym a little bit earlier today and get some extra time on the elliptical before Zumba class today. I have just a little bit of tummy to go before it's flat. And of course it doesn't want to budge. I'm going to have to start doing crunches or something and I don't want to.

for the past 3 days I have been having crazy lunches and minimal and slightly weird dinners. Sunday I had a whole Dr. Oetker pizza for lunch and a smoothie for dinner. Monday I ate pretty normally (although not super healthy). Yesterday I had grilled cheese and fries for lunch and a chocolate bar and grapes for dinner. I'm not getting fatter but I have ZERO energy - probably because I'm not correctly fueling my body. I did a 28 min vinyasa yoga sesh this morning and it was way harder than it should have been. Feels like the funk cloud is threatening to descend once again.

Our bodies really tell us when we're feeding it empty calories. usually i want to tell it to STFU and enjoy what it is getting. but it rarely listens.
I didn't eat before hitting the gym this morning... well, i had a few oyster crackers to settle my stomach. morning is the worst with my allergies. I was starving when i finished. had my oatmeal when i got to my desk, but also went and crabbed a pile of scrambled eggs and egg whites from the cafe downstairs.
i feel better today than yesterday!

I eat what I want to during the day - snacks and treats and etc. as well as a full lunch. But then for dinner just have a few hundred calories max. It's worked well for me and I haven't noticed an energy difference.
