Maybe it is my favorite because it is so close to home for me!
The craft brew industry has exploded across the country, and Indiana is no exception.
We have a lot of great local beers nowadays...
The days of Prohibition and Al Capone's rut gut is long gone!

Try the Fin du Monde; it's lovely, and has 9% alcohol.

There are many craft breweries near where I live.  I have a very hard time picking one.

I am sure you do. We were in Alexandria Virginia two weeks ago, and I partook of several excellent craft beers.

I disagree with the pick for Illinois I no longer consider Goose Island a craft beer. It is now owned by one of the largest brewers in America, although it is a good tasting beer. Illinois has much better craft brewers these days.

Oh, and the other funny thing in Virginia, I saw on the beer list at the same price as Budweiser, and Coors, 
Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. Looks like whoever bought the brand is trying to make it a premium beer.

I agree. A little is okay but it shouldn't take over the taste. See my post on the other thread.

Sort of surprised about this list. All northern states except for Nevada, and since you have Las Vegas there, the consumption is to be expected. Surprised Florida or Texas is not on there.
