Well, it certainly is in our interest to find common ground. None of us want to see Russia invading eastern Europe and the start of WWIII.

IMO President Obama mis-handled Syria the whole way. His red line warning comes to mind.

Yes, and if you go back (I don't expect you to- you can take my word for it) I wrote at the time that I agreed with the Donald on that- Let the Russians have at it!

I remember post 9-11 sentiment and calls to "nuke em all".  I remember being grateful (and proud) that Bush did not resort to that.  I remember feeling that he might be an OK president after all.
