I can't remember what thread we were talking about it. I've looked online but seeing as it's my first time making it and bringing it to a party I would like a recipe that y'all have vetted.

This is my go to for Peanut Butter fudge. It is a more granular, sugary fudge, not as chewey, which is what I like in a PB fudge.
2 cups white sugar 1lb box brown sugar 3/4 cup of milk bring to boil...cook 1 min Take off heat add 1 jar of peanut butter (Jiff) (1 3/4 cup) and 1 small jar of fluff.
Stir until smooth the pour into buttered pan (I use a 9x13 with parchment instead of buttering it - this way I can just lift the parchment out after it cools to cut it.
Use a large pan, as it creates a fairly good amount.

Here's the one I use: INGREDIENTS SERVINGS 25 4 1⁄2 cups sugar 3 (12 ounce) packages chocolate chips 1⁄2 lb margarine 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk 7 ounces marshmallow cream 2 cups nuts DIRECTIONS Mix 4 1/2 cups sugar with one (1) can evaporated milk. Boil 7 to 8 minutes, stirring often (rolling boil). Mix together in a large bowl; 3 packages chocolate chips, 7 oz. jar marshmallow cream, 1/2 lb. melted margarine. Cream margarine and marshmallow together and add chocolate chips. Pour hot mixture over chocolate mixture. After chocolate has melted, add 2 cups of nuts and 1 teaspoons of vanilla, blend well, pour into buttered pans and chill in refrigerator. Cut into squares before firm. This recipe makes about 5 lbs of fudge. It's supposed to be the original recipe for See's fudge and it's very, very good.

I've had good success with the Fudge recipe off the back of the Nestle Toll House Semi Sweet Morsel package.
For some reason I cannot cut and paste...

It doesn't look like it should work - but it does.
I've added crushed up candy canes (probably about 1/4 cup? - I used 3 or 4 candy canes) I've also added mini marshmallows - a cup of them.
I've also used the Milk Chocolate morsels instead of the Semi Sweet - with success.

@mmhhmm what sized pans do you use? 5 pounds of fudge sounds like an astonishing amount of fudge... is that like two 9*13 pans?
an 8 * 8 pan seems to generate Fudge overload.... I can't imagine 4 or 5 times that amount.

This looks good, mmhhmm! I think I can veganize it easily, and make a new treat for us . It really is delicious, rukh! My family and friends all love it. I often give it as a gift to those I know can enjoy it.

an 8 * 8 pan seems to generate Fudge overload.... I can't imagine 4 or 5 times that amount. It fits into a 9X13 quite nicely. I usually make 3 recipes because my family goes through fudge like a buzz saw through sawdust.

I say that cuz I saw a vegan marshmallow fluff at Whole Foods, wondered if hat I could make with it....now I know Really??!! Do you know the brand? Most marshmallow fluff contains eggs so we have to avoid them. Heck, we eat a TON of vegan foods just to avoid eggs, LOL!

I thought it was dandies. We've had their marshmallows. but I didn't pick up the container and read..... Shoot - may be not, will try to find next time at whole foods. I looked at dandies website - and they don't list the fluff....

I think I can veganize it easily, and make a new treat for us . I use this same recipe but only use 1 package of semi-sweet chocoalate chips. Also cook the sugar, milk, marshmallow creme, margarine all together until it boils for 7-10 minutes. The longer you have it boiling the harder the fudge gets, so you can modify best on preference (so this gives you an excuse to make plenty of fudge!). After boiling add choc chips and vanilla and mix with blender, then add nuts (if desired) This is my go to recipe that everyone loves, and they are always surprised at the ingredients and how easy it is to make.

Does it matter butter or margarine? Rukh O'Rorke -- what substitute do you use for butter most often? I made a vegan gluten free cake that was delish. I used coconut oil for the frosting and my gawd I could have eaten that frosting plain.

I used coconut oil for the frosting and my gawd I could have eaten that frosting plain. there are two butters we use. earth balance buttery spread is the good basic one. but - buttery spread is the only one from earth balance I find acceptable. tried one of their others - it was not for me. miyoko's cultured vegan butter is a treat to have on toasted bread, baked potatoes, etc. very pricey.
