those security briefings that it has been reported that he is not that fond of attending...He might find out that one of our allies is doing plenty on their own to stay up to date and expending revenues in becoming one of the worlds top naval powers...During the political campaign he accused most if not all of our allies..Europe[NATO ], South Korea, Japan among many of basically leeching off of the US in not pulling their own weight on defense..accusing them of allowing US to pay for defending them...saying he will negotiate a better deal for the US or let these areas, countrys go it alone..actually suggesting it would be fine by him if say Japan, South Korea developed their own nuclear capability.. It is the Donalds mouth that is always flapping IMHO , when better it stays quiet as he is brought up to speed for his new position...It is not the same as being the big boss, basically answering only to himself for decisions made..in his many businesses...he is now, or very shortly, going to be. the POTUS and I don't believe he has a real clue as to what that really means in the big world of internation relationships..unless he does and is basically willing to go it alone... If so...just the biggest mistake he could do for our country...possible not in the thinking of his mob supporters..but definitly for any who like to think things through and not just get off by relying on emotions to get through the day. [Hey I didn't say it, regarding certain nations, allies, to develop own nuclear options, ..the Donald said it..in his own words and my feeling always been , believe what some one says..till proven differently] Here is one nation it seems is pulling their own weight in defense doings and spending.. --------------------------------------------------------- www.cnn.com/2016/12/06/asia/japan-military-pearl-harbor-anniversary/index.html
"(CNN)Seventy-five years after Japan unleashed one of the most devastating naval attacks in history on the US fleet at Pearl Harbor, the country has again established itself as one of the world's foremost military powers, experts say.
The resurgence comes despite a constitution imposed by the United States after World War II that limited the country's forces to defensive purposes only. In fact, analysts say, that defensive restriction has helped make Japan's military stronger than it might have been without it.
"Pilot for pilot, ship for ship, Japan can stand toe to toe with anybody," said John T. Kuehn, a professor of military history at the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.
And it achieved this with a military budget that is only a fraction of others powers.
The buildup comes as the country faces shifting security dynamics in the region, with a newly elected US president who looks poised to upend the diplomatic playbook and redraw the geopolitical map."

How many of these same threads are you going to start? It is tiresome, and very boring.
Donald's theme should be this: Making America great at the expense of one exploding head at a time

How many of these same threads are you going to start? It is tiresome, and very boring. Donald's theme should be this: Making America great at the expense of one exploding head at a time Really? Tell me how...If u are not interested then suggest don't read, slide down or there is a way to take care of it..can't mention as it is against one of VIRGILS no, no's..to mention but u can figure it out... As far as how many threads along same lines to start...As long as the Donald keeps doing, granted IMHO, things he shouldn't such as here..suggesting it's ok to increase the nations having nuclear weapons..ok to diss allies as not doing enough for their own defense, when he doesn't have a clue how much they are spending [remember he doesn't like those security meetings..thats were u learn such things..before winning the election he was just like u and I..getting such information second or third hand..now he can if he wants , learn the real scoop..but so far little interest..from his own people by the way..hey even made SNL..and if it makes it there we know it's the truth..] not sure what this means... " Donald's theme should be this:
Making America great at the expense of one exploding head at a time"
but as I said..he is now the President elect and is fair game and I am not making things up..there is the thread..the article..my feeling on...disagree..then comment or do the other thing I mentioned...I will continue the threads..the articles...even if the Donald finally releases his tax returns..
