Oh I noticed Virgil.
Now if we could solve all the back biting back and forth.
SUCH a waste of time.
I'm just sayin...

Apologies for the ongoing tweaks to the header. I'm eventually going to put in a "choose your own" -type affair where you can customize the types of plots and info you're interested in.
The current incarnation is due to several PMs I've received over the last while.

GAH! Why didn't somebody tell me that the stock ticker banner looks like a dog's breakfast in IE!!!? People who use IE are too old to be able to see it.

Looks great in Netscape Navigator. I run an IBM 5150 PC with a 5151 Green Screen monitor, so I can't comment on the color. It's green.

Virgil Your doing great with your changes, THANKS.
The stock quotes did work with IE on a Vista system. Not perfect but better than nothing.

I've disabled the scrolling stock feed until I can verify that it plays nice with the newly installed applications. It should be up and running again by Monday. Let me know what you guys think of the new apps.

I've made the following changes to the app bar: - Reduced the amount of space required by the SPG app, and installed a vertical scroller on the main table.
- Enabled a right/left scroll in IE (Firefox already had this ability).
- Added the Forex Charts app from FinViz. This allows MTers to peek at the major exchange rates: USDEUR, USDGBP, USDCAD, and USDJPY
- Fixed some minor IE bugs
Bon apetit. ETA: Also got rid of the "feature" that collapsed the whole bar when all apps were closed. Originally I thought this was going to be useful but it turned out to be a pain in the neck.

Just so happens , I was looking for FOREX info today...Thanks.
The quote thingy is not that great. Boxes it in and real small print ...at least for a man of my advanced age. I notice many ignoring the feature as to it's difficulty of use

Sent you a PM Virgil, but should probably talk about it here so noone gets upset if you agree to do it.
Anyone have a problem with losing either the Gold or the Silver spot chart (not both) and replacing the one we 'lose' with a chart that tracks the yield on the 10 year? I may be the only person left in America that still buys 10 years every month via my Treasury Direct account, but I like seeing what that yield is doing versus silver and the S&P500 (or Dow if you're like my wife and like big numbers).

I'll see what I can do about getting it up there, Driftr. I'm a bit beholden to the dynamically generated content Web 2.0 sites are able to provide.
