The Chex Mix is deal is at WAGS.
First go to Von's. Try to find at least 6 booklets of the coupon booklets. They have a Football theme. I think that they are blue or gray with black trim. Look on page 24. There is a $1.00 off of 1 Chex Mix coupon. You will need 6 coupons to "run" this deal. Once you cut out the coupons, go to WAGS and find 6 bags of of 8.75 Chex mix. Most flavors will work, as long as the sale price is $1.33 and the bags ring up for that amount. I bought Bold party mix, cheddar, honey nut, and traditional.
All flavors "worked like a charm."
Important: Have the cashier ring up the 6 bags. Submit the 6 $1.00 off coupons and make sure that each one clears. The balance should be about $1.98. Then get the monthly book (have it with you) and look for the WAGS Chex Mix store coupon. It says "99 cents off of 3 bags." This coupon will work for the 6 bags and clear out the balance. Your balance will be zero.
Try to act surprised and happy.
If you feel guilty, you can buy the markdown cornbread for 35 cents a package, LOL.
I did that on one order, and my order came to 35 cents.
I really can't take credit for this one. I have Dancinmama to thank.

I want to talk a bit about my inexpensive meal tonight.
I bought a pot roast (a very small one, 1.5 pounds) for $2.97 today. It was a Ranchers Reserve, so I had a $2.00 coupon from the Von's booklet. The actual OOP for the roast was 97 cents.
I put it in my crock pot and cooked it for about 6 hours. I added carrots, onions, and celery. I poured a can of beef broth that I bought for 50 cents with my bucks at CVS (NO OOP).
I made mashed potatoes with 6 small potatoes that I took from a 10 pound bag that cost a total of $1.00 during a holiday sale.
The butter and sour cream was purchased at CVS with my EB's and no OOP.
The total cost for the meal for 3 was 97 cents + 30 cents for the carrots + 15 cents for the onions, + 20 cents for the celery and 25 cents for the potatoes.
The grand total was $1.87 for the 3 of us! This is approximately 63 cents each!!! This delicious and tender meal would have cost us $10.00 each at any restaurant if you add the tax and the tip.
I am going to be on the "lookout" for small amounts /packages of the Rancher's Reserve beef at Von's (Safeway).

Nite nite, all.
I am going back to RA to buy some Stayfree. I think I also saw a Neuragen coupon in the Diabetic book from WAGS. I wonder if I can use it at RA?

Does your store have a meat clearance bin? My store puts a 50% off tag on packages after 4:00 on the last date of sale. I've gotten some great deals that way too. I DO plan to go in and browse for some really small packages. I'd love to make a pot roast.

I really can't take credit for this one. I have Dancinmama to thank.A couple of notes on the Chex Mix: The Wags deal only requires that you buy 3 or more. After you get 3, the Wags book and the SW coupons take off the right amount for each one. I did a few transactions of different amounts and it works fine regardless of the number you buy over 3. Also, in most cases you need to use the Wags coupon last, but in this case it doesn't really matter. Takes you to zero either way. This deal at Wags also works with the bags marked 33% more free. Bags are about 12 ounces. However, if you have 10 SW coupons, you can buy ten bags at Rite Aid on Sunday ($15 total) use your ten coupons (down to $5) and get back ten $1 Ups plus one $5 Up, for a profit of $10! Even if you've already done your buy $15 get $5 deal once, you will still get the ten $1 Ups for a profit of $5.

I'm sure this could have been less OOP, but I'm happy with it.
Transaction 1: 2 Nature Made Fish Oil @11.49 - 10% discount = 10.34 each 1 Nature Made Fish Oil @10.49 - 10% discount = 9.44 -$4/20 VV -$3 VV -$1 RA VV -$2 SS -2 $1 IP -$5 UPs from Hormel $13.12 OOP and got $16 Nature Made UP and $10 Heart Healthy UP
Transaction #2 4 GE lightbulbs @1.99 each 1 gallon milk -$10 Heart Healthy UP $1.87 OOP - got 4 $1.99 UPs
Total: $14.99 OOP have $23.96 in UPs!

DEBinWA, I have you to thank for this deal too! A Big Thank YOU!!! I tried it with the WAGS coupon first. The WAGS coupon worked, but then the MQ's from SW (Von's) glitched several times for me (I am in California). It could also be that the cashier was not a good one. This deal at Wags also works with the bags marked 33% more free. Bags are about 12 ounces.Yes, I too, was lucky enough to find a few of these. Thanks. The more, the better! I know it's not very exciting anymore, but, thought someone might be interested that Kmart is doing doubles, up to $2, Jan 30-Feb 5th. The email says you have to use your rewards card and it has to be a $25 purchase before coupons. It also says on "grocery and drugstore merchandise." Limit of 5 coupons per day.

Did ya'll hear about this: A mailman on Long Island, New York is accused of stealing discount coupons from mail meant for residents, and selling the coupons on eBay. The mailman stole coupons from his route from October 2009 to as recently as this January.
Police accuse Thomas Tang of Baldwin, 38, of stealing discount coupons that were intended for people's mailboxes on his route. How sad is that? The mailman not only stole the coupons for his own use, but also had the nerve to sell them on eBay.
The mail carrier stole more than 7,000 J.C. Penney Co. discount coupons. He is being charged with grand larceny. He has a lawyer, who is not talking to the press, but the accused himself pleaded not guilty.

The email says you have to use your rewards card and it has to be a $25 purchase before coupons. It also says on "grocery and drugstore merchandise." Limit of 5 coupons per day. It's too bad that KMart changed their policy when offering double coupons. My sister has a KMart near her home and I only got to participate once. That was the only "doubled coupons" that I have gotten in 7 1/2 years. Before we relocated, I had a Safeway that did unlimited doubled coupons on a daily basis (up to a $1 face value on the coupon), but they discontinued all double coupons a couple of years before we moved. In those days I had a WAGs, but RRs had not been "invented" yet. Like suzi said in her fairwell post on MSN, we as couponers have to continuously be flexible - adjusting to the whims of the corporations that offer coupons, the companies who distribute them, and the stores where we redeem them. All in all I think that all you gals here are REALLY GOOD about figuring out any changes or new programs VERY quickly, adapting, and teaching everyone else how to too.

I went to my Safeway the day before yesterday and they only had a small stack of the booklets BEHIND the counter at the customer service desk. I don't know if this means that they don't have any more or if they are just putting them out incrementally. When the Thanksgiving booklet came out, they had them all over the store and had a huge cardboard display holding them. They never seemed to run out of them. Maybe they are saving them so they can put out a bunch this next week before Super Bowl Sunday (fingers crossed).

OT, I gave a couple of great reviews on the RA site for my store (they helped me when I did not get a 10Up for Aveeno a couple of weeks ago) and it looks like it worked. They are all happy to see me and go out of their way to point out for me to take the survey and give them all 5s. Since they have been patient with me and my Qs, I did 2 surveys last night that came with my receipts and gave them all 5s.
For the SF BOGO deal, I would recommend printing out the RA coupon policy and highlighting it and taking it with you this week. Just in case they balk that you already have a BOGO deal.

Don't forget; if you need to ask questions - don't be shy. Even those gals who are supposedly "experts" ask questions all the time - including me!! ;D

AJ (I get confused with you & greengirl, so I'll stick to AJ Hope you don't mind), I sent you a PM. Holy smokes Kathy! that sure is bad that a mail carrier would do that. Meijer shoppers - time to stock up on Kraft cheese. Cheese is on sale for $1.67. Buy 5 or 6, use 2 or 3 $1/2 Qs, get $3 OYNO. Comes to 67c each. Kraft singles are ½ price, so it should be super cheap with the $1/1 IP.

Thanks, Constanz. I used to love Kmarts doubles deals, and I am sure people will post some "successes."
I just don't rush out there anymore, because my Kmart is so rude to couponers and the rules are just too complicated.
If you have a good deal for us, keep us posted!

Thank you Suzi, for the detailed recap. I just hope I have the time and energy to get all the deals. There are so many this week I'm getting confused and can't figure the best way to make it all work. I don't have any UPs to start with so I have to sit down and figure out how I'm going to do it. I think it will start with the Chex Mix $5/15 and pay $5 (I have 10 coupons) and end with the Neuragen rebate so I get that $5 back. No worries, I'll figure it out. Meanwhile I'll try my Vons/Safeway again and see if I can get 6 more books for the Walgreens Chex Mix deal today. Also, did you buy your Ranchers Reserve meat at Vons/Safeway?
ETA: I see now that the coupon is only good at Safeway
Is there a $4/20 coupon around from Rite Aid? I haven't heard anyone mention one and it would go well with the $5/15. I printed a RA Dixie Q about a week ago during the TP deal. Can I print another or is it one per customer?
