I am, but I am worried. This could be really bad. The press photos are so cheesy.
There is so much talk on the Internet about how everyone is just dying for her and Logan to be together. If it is 10 years later and there is still a cappy relationship between her and a guy who she turned down for marriage, then maybe a smart, beautiful girl like Roy could meet someone different. Not only of her high school boyfriends or a dick she dated in college (or magically turned into the nicest guy in the world) but someone she possibly met in all the places she has been, traveling around as a journalist, covering the first Obama campaign, and yet there are still only 3 possible love interests.

I completely agree. I am looking forward to the premiere though. I can't wait!

It's my favorite show. Gilmore Girls was never really about who ended up with who (though we all rooted for Lorelai and Luke), it was about the journey. That said. Lorelai - 1. Luke. 2. Max Medina if it can't be Luke. Never Christopher. Ugh. Rory - hmmmm I don't know. I guess Jess, if I have to pick one. Not Logan, the whiny, rich a$$hat. Not Dean - he was okay the first time around, but that second time with the affair ruined him for me. Am I the only one who really liked Marty? Poor guy never even got a chance. I hope Rory met/meets someone new or is just out being an awesome journalist and showing the world what she can do. I'll miss Richard.

In real life he would be the best husband and long term partner. Sweet, arrentive, smart, a little nerdy. He would be a good family man. He would help with the dishes and do his own laundry. But this tv show would never let the boring less hot guy win.

They haven't said if she's with the three or if she's not. We just know all three are in the reboot.
She was friends with jess in the end, so not surprising. Logan it's a but surprising. I forget how it settled out with Dean the second time.

I dunno, I felt like Marty turned a little smarmy and had a touch of the nice guy syndrome.

I would imagine Logan has matured. He was the rich whiny guy with some "issues" but he was also just a kid back then. It is more realistic that she end up with someone altogether new; however, sometimes people do end up with someone from their past. I have a friend who ended up divorcing her husband and two years later went to her 20 yr high school reunion and is now dating a guy she went to school with. They never dated in school but were friends. Apparently, he had a crush on her back in the day. This kind of stuff doesn't happen often but it does happen.
If I had to pick any of the three it would be Logan. Jesse, just no, not ever... Dean, he was okay but turned into an idiot.

I think the ending made so much sense I felt stupid for not realizing way in advance. I think they should have had Logan shirtless wayyyyy more than they did. I don't entirely like what they did with Rory though.

I also think they should have Logan's hair spikey like they had in the past. I was surprised I didn't guess the last 4 words either...

Yea, I was so caught up in thinking that it was something profound or sentimental that fitting right onto the whole story wasn't on my radar.
Shoot when Logan popped out of bed my first thought was what show is he on now and is he shirtless on it?

I watched it and overall was pretty happy with it. However, there should have been more Jess, less musical.
Luke was exactly the same. Lorelai's face - egads lay off the plastic surgery. Paris was awesome. The Parenthood cameos were fun. The maid and family thing was funny but a little heavy-handed at times.

Yea, I was surprised there was less Jess considering the last scene with him. That musical was a bit too long - it was ok when it takes over an episode when there's 26 of em...it felt a bit like she was pushing the bunheads chick even though she has a new show.
I think some of Lorelais problem was makeup/lighting. I've seen her on interviews and she doesn't look as bad.
I didn't realize until I looked it up that gypsy was the maid!

I enjoyed it for the most part. Something in the writing seemed to be "missing." I can't put my finger on it exactly but it just didn't seem quite as good to me.
Logan was being typical Logan...
Paris was freaking awesome
I was never a big fan of Jess but I like him much better as an adult.
I never saw the end coming and not sure I liked it.

That musical thing went on and on and on. Plus the extended Beatles scene. WTF.
Other than that, it was decent. I loved the end. I was wondering what the whole discussion with Christopher about how he felt, blah, blah. I was trying to figure that out, and then I was wondering why Roy wasn't drinking champagne in the gazebo. So, the end was 'Ah-ha'. I was ticked that I didn't see it coming.
