So I have a power point file / document with text and some pretty background, but I need to make it in a printout size 20 inch by 30 inch and NOT standard paper size. Any services u know of that will do this?
I went to Staples and I can convert it to a photo and they can blow it up. But that's kind of expensive ($20). I don't need it glossy or on fancy paper. Just regular paper, regular printing (color). Ideas?

That is probably a good price. I know that when I needed to print out drawings that size, the college charged me about $2/page because it needed to be printed out on a plotter for something that size. I seriously doubt that this was an inflated charge, as just printing out an 11" x 17" drawing on the printer charged my print card 0.05/page.

We have plotters at work for the engineering dept, so we can print on those at cost (something that size would cost us about $3-5). Could you do that at work or do you have a friend who could?

Find an engineer/architect/graphic designer friend with a plotter.

DH was former print shop owner, and I know the pricing.
Anything over 11"x17" in full color is very pricey. 11x17 can be done on a regular copier, and you can get that size put on poster board for a small amount extra. But anything over that size will cost you. $20 sounds about right. The actual dimensions don't matter once you are above 11"x17" because you can set the plotters to whatever size you want.

Thanks all! I will try kinkos & minute man. Any other recommendations? Any place that has a plotter, as that's what you are going to need to print something else out that size. Someone suggested if you have a friend in an engineering firm is another idea. They usually have plotters big enough to print out this size. But depending upon how many pages you have, $20 really doesn't sound bad. You may be spending more time running around time looking to save a few $$, if that.
