Petunia - I agree that it takes 2 to tango. DH realized that too, but mistakenly thought the ex agreed with him to stop at 2 like she stated and was (foolishly) relying on her to make the appointment for him like she said she would (I'd have to call him again to double check, but I think she also told him she was on birth control during that time when in reality she wasn't). He realized after she became pregnant that it was her plan all along and that he shouldn't have relied on her for such an important aspect of 'his' life.

Where can you get a vasectomy without having the wife's consent? I had to get my consent notarized and even then the doctor made us go to 3 sessions before he snipped EXDH. Depends on the state you lived in. I was living in Texas when I decided to have my tubes tied. Had to have husband's signature before they would do it. OTOH, my son, in WA state, got a vascetomy without her signature....

Florida, signed and notarized consent for DH to have vasectomy.
