I almost threw up a few times. I looked like hell this am with the puffy eyes for all the ugly crying I did last night.

Like I did with Game of Thrones, I decided to watch the last episode to see what it was about.
Were the black young man who was taught how to shave along with the white young man who shave for the first time and the young woman who played Pin The Tail On The Donkey the same adults sitting on the outside house steps including the black man who found out he was going to be a grandfather?
And was it Mindy Moore the young people's mom who died?

I have all the seasons except this current one on DVD and have watched it from the beginning several times. I have to say I was a bit underwhelmed by the finale though. After all the build up it was a bit of a let down. I would have liked to hear some parts of the eulogies and less Saturday flashbacks with the kids. JMHO The train episode was much better and could have been the finale.

I watched the final 3 episodes last night. The train episode was the best to me as well. I would have liked some flash forward stuff on the final episode. The indication is that Randall will be president but I would have liked to have seen that...
I liked that they threw into the storyline the family that was in the car accident the same night Jack passed away. It made me think of how we may only say a few words to people we come in contact with and never know what happens to them after that day. How our lives all intertwine with one another.
I purposely waited so I could binge the last 3 episodes. I'm glad I did it that way because it was more like one big finale to me. Had I watched the finale episode on its own I would have been a little disappointed.
This is one of my all time favorite shows and I am really going to miss it. I will rewatch them all maybe in a couple of years.
