The Financial Blogger Conference takes place in San Diego this year. On Wednesday, Sept. 21, there's an open-to-the-public event called the Money Meetup. You must register but there's no charge and apparently drinks and snacks will be offered.

For about an hour ahead of this meetup (between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m.) I'll be hanging out somewhere in the hotel -- probably the coffee shop -- to chat with any readers who want to attend the event. Or who don't want to go to the event but just want to say "hi."

There will almost certainly be a breakfast/early lunch meetup on Sunday before my daughter and I have to leave. (She's a writer too, at IPickUpPennies.net.) Details will be on my website later this week, once we figure out where to eat.
