On the situation in Baton Rouge police killings. He looked tired today. He was pretty down emotionally over this killing(s). He was asking leaders to back down on the rhetoric.
Who is he addressing? Trump? Trump and Clinton? Political leaders of all factions at Federal, state, and local levels? The Clergy? Major cable networks with their over the top talking heads and guests?
Cleveland Ohio will be the focal point on this subject this week. How the Republicans handle theirselves this week will determine whether Trump will be a serious candidate this fall.

I feel bad for the Cleveland police: Cleveland police union calls for open-carry ban during GOP conventionWith an attack on police in Baton Rouge Sunday leaving three officers dead, Cleveland's police union is calling on Ohio Gov. John Kasich to temporarily ban the open-carry of weapons in the city during the Republican convention this week. "Somebody in this country has got to stand up and support the police officers," Loomis told CBS News. Ohio is an open-carry state, meaning legal gun owners can carry certain types of firearms in plain sight. Per the U.S. Secret Service's guidelines, guns are not allowed in the venue for the convention itself, but they are allowed in the surrounding areas. Kasich spokeswoman Emmalee Kalmbach said Sunday afternoon that the governor of Ohio does not actually have the legal ability to suspend state laws in the way Loomis and the police union are asking for. "Law enforcement is a noble, essential calling and we all grieve that we've again seen attacks on officers," Kalmbach said. "Ohio governors do not have the power to arbitrarily suspend federal and state constitutional rights or state laws as suggested. The bonds between our communities and police must be reset and rebuilt--as we're doing in Ohio--so our communities and officers can both be safe. Everyone has an important role to play in that renewal." Cleveland police union calls for open-carry ban during GOP convention

I believe their open carry law does not mean you can walk around with weapons brandished. If that really helps, I do not know.

I believe their open carry law does not mean you can walk around with weapons brandished. If that really helps, I do not know. Some people believe exactly that: "I can carry my gun on my belt in plain view like is nobody's business!" A level headed, clear thinking, responsible gun owner would know that that is not the case. Unfortunately, there are the others!

Well, I'm 5 foot nothing and although I don't go looking for trouble, if it finds me I want to be prepared. I look like a victim but I refuse to be. But you'd never know I was carrying as I do it discreetly.

I do not believe you can walk down the street wit a pistol in your hand. I was aware of the FBI not allowing weapons around the center also.

It only takes a nanosecond to pull out the firearm from its holster.
