But I'm in Oregon for the 4th. I forgot how darn cold it is in the summer. Like Michigan. I packed shorts and short sleeved shirts. I'm going to freeze my butt off!!

I live in Phoenix and have for almost all of my memory. I never pack even close to what I should bring on vacation. I just can't get it through my head that you would need anything other than shorts and tanks during summer.
On the plus side, I have a nice collection of sweatshirts from just about every place I have been.

I know. I should have brought different clothing. My fault entirely. So wonderful to see most of my family for reunion.

I turned the heat on this weekend. haven't needed air conditioning once since I had the window unit put in upstairs. I am cold now but it is probably 68 in here seems wrong to put on heat in July.

We had two days of 52 degrees in the morning over the weekend in Indiana. We broke out to the mid 70's during the day. On the 4th of July weekend no less. Jackets and jeans instead of sandals shorts and cut offs......

Shoot we are in the 80's at night, and it isn't getting better. Texas in the summer, gotta love it.

50s in the early mornings is just awesome! Then 10 am rolls around and it hits 80s or above. Heat doesn't bother me that much but neither does cold unless they are on the extreme. Can't wear short pants on the job anyways so I've gotten used to the shirt sticking to my chest or back in the heat of the day. Thanks God for Dasani and ice makers!

You DO know that Dasani is just tap water, right?

I knew some bottled water was tap water, I think Aquafina is tap water. Where does Dasani water come from? I buy it b/c DD will drink it.

All of which raises a question: Whether or not you live in Toledo, just how pure is that pristine bottled water in the shopping cart? Turns out, the answer varies depending on the brand, and on a confusing lexicon of water terms ("artesian" isn't the same as "spring," for instance.) But the bottom line is this: Close to half of the bottled water sold in the United States is ordinary filtered tap water. A few years ago, the National Resources Defense Council completed a four-year-long study of over 100 brands of bottled water, and found a few disturbing things—including the case of “pure, glacier water” having been pumped from a well near a hazardous waste site. As you’ve no doubt noticed, bottled water brands are fond of using images of snowcapped mountains and piney forests on their labels, even when the water in the bottle may really be from a tap in Pittsburgh. Or, as one investigator put it, "the same stuff that fills your toilet bowl." And since there’s no requirement for them to put the water’s source on the label, many brands simply don’t. www.adweek.com/news/advertising-branding/whats-expensive-bottled-water-anyway-159278

Well, Milwaukee tap water is reputedly pretty safe, but fyi, your link says Dasani is reverse osmosis filtered, which makes it pretty damn safe (and makes it taste better).

Personaly I don't care what kind of water is as long as it doesn't smell, has no taste or color. Dasani just came to mind given that I get it more often than others. On the job it is easier to have a big ice chest and you drop in water and ice Small bottles are practical versus big one gallon jugs. I read that somewhere about Dasani just being tap water but when you are thirsty what difference does it make?
