So in regards to the issue that got trump into trouble for Trump University-- do those computer scored reviews of a course or instructor given immediately after a class is finished, prove the class had value to the students?
Imho, they are often colored by how well you did in the class, if you like or dislike instructor etc. they are also usually anonymous, so do they have any value to Trump in a court of law?

They have a high value to the dogpit battle of Dems vs. Reps.
Let the toughest dog survive its wounds and let the weakest die, to be eaten by the victor. It's the New American way.

I mean as a University Student right now I look at reviews for courses and Professors.
Most of the time the Professors I've had issues with and complaints about I later find reviews to be similar complaints. In some regards yes I do believe this to be the case.
The teachers that have positive reviews often are great teachers as well.

I've had a few teachers with bad reviews that I've liked. But more often then not the reviews hold true. That is the majority reviews.
If there's 100 reviews giving the teacher a 2 out of 5 it's not likely that the Professor is really good. But if there's 100 reviews giving a 4.5 out of 5 say 95 students and 5 give them a 1... usually that good reviews outweight the bad ones and it's more on the student.

We do these at my school as well. Students have anonymous reviews. If it's only a few bad reviews... it's not very likely they're believed fully. But I mean if 85 percent of the students are reviewing poorly one can't simply pretend it means nothing...because it truly does. I work within a schools department and I have to review scores and such. And knowing some of the Professors personally and seeing their teaching styles and their attitudes about the classroom...half the time it never surprises me their scores.

I have 2 kids in college right now and I remember them saying they no longer place any weight on the review b/c they don't seem to be accurate.

Interesting they've always helped me and a lot of my friends. Maybe it varies by University.
