I know Trump owns the course, and now we have a "political situation". The PGA announced they are moving the tournament to Mexico City, ending a ten year agreement that was renewed in 2013 I understand the economic reasons for the move, but why does it go to an out of country site? Think about the jobs lost in the weeks before and during the tournament. The taxes lost to the state of Florida from housing and feeding thousands of out of state attendees. The low income people manning the concessions, the restaurants, cleaning the hotel rooms, etc. I understand the PGA is an international organization, but again we see how corporations will sell out America for a few pieces of silver...... www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/the-pga-tour-is-moving-donald-trumps-tournament-to-mexico-and-he-hopes-they-have-kidnapping-insurance/ar-BBtKAzm?li=BBnbfcLI do see this as monetary flight hurting American lower economic workers and falls into Trump's wheel house

We have the FedEx St. Jude golf tournement here in Memphis (starts this Monday). Other than food vendors outside of the golf course area, the tournament is staffed mostly by volunteers, many of them FedEx employees. If the tounement were discontinued or moved out of the area, few lower income workers would be affected as other events still occur in the city through the year.
We still have the FedEx hub which employs over 3,000 people during the day and 30,000 people during the night. The hub is always hiring.
Trump will find something else for the golf course to fill the void.

Trump will find something else for the golf course to fill the void. He should have self funded the 10 million price tag, and kept it there. Think of the political signs he could have had around the course. The par three hole in one hole......could have been a sign advertising "pick the illegal family you want deported" hole

It's hard enough staying out of the water or the sand trap. How many shots would be bouncing off the signage.
