that Donald Trump who started out at 1% when he announced he was running for the Presidency would win the nomination? I only asked this because last night I asked about Bernie's odds of pulling an upset in the primary and dj responded about how I must like giving my money to the bookies....... I wonder what the odds were back then and how much money was wagered.

Second question. What were the odds that the Republican nomination process would be wrapped up before the Democratic nomination? They had Hillary crowned victorious the day she announced she was running. The Democrats worried she would have no one to even debate during the primaries do not count Trump out ever!

So the question is... if you were the guy that put $100 on Donald trump at 1% odds, do you hedge you bet and put a bet down on Hillary now or go balls to the wall and let it all ride on Trump?

I'm shallow politically because I'm more interested in the odds on the Raiders moving to Vegas. OK, carry on with the serious stuff.

Whether or not it will be a go depends on NFL but I hope Mark has his dad's balls and gets his way. Love the Raiders

the odds of HC and DT winning their respective nominations is north of 20:1 the odds of HC winning the presidency is currently running 7:3 the LOWEST it has been is 5:3, during the entire cycle. it has been there twice. i'd explain WHY, but it is funner to watch everyone holler about how likely he is to win.

They had Hillary crowned victorious the day she announced she was running. The Democrats worried she would have no one to even debate during the primaries do not count Trump out ever! the odds SHOULD HAVE BEEN close to 100%, at the beginning of the primary cycle. it is very rare that the GOP does NOT wrap up the nomination first, because of the WTA skewing. the only reason there was any drama was because of Trump.

I wonder what the odds were back then and how much money was wagered. Trump's odds of winning the nomination were less than 1:10 until January. since Feb 23rd, his odds were better than any other GOP candidate. sometimes the longshot wins. and sometimes the favourite loses. that is how it works. that is why it is not 0:10 odds.
