Rules:
1. Selection must be made prior to the opening bell on the first trading day of the week.
2. Selection may be changed up to the opening bell.
3. Starting price is the opening price on first trading day of week.
4. Ending price is closing price on last trading day of week.
5. No options or other trading vehicles. Only stocks and ETFs are allowed.
6. Opening prices will be those found at Yahoo Finance. Any disputed opening price will be resolved using the price listed at Yahoo Finance historical quotes

Will go with EA (Long). Electronic Arts. Could go either way. May have another volatile week coming up, but due to report on 5/10, So changing from earlier short in case they beat by a cent or two. Will see if it turns out to be the correct move, or get mud-spattered.

Who said there's a word such as volatility ............. I believe this is the most changes on the contest in one day. Tyfighter is the only one that kept the same position. Next 3 days should be interesting ...!!!! Was there ever, in the over all market! Look at Amazon. Some specialist came out and said he is expecting it will hit $1,000 a share. Was trading under $700 at this time. Fossil Group lost over $11 a share today from a $39 price point. Disney was down about 6% after hours on poor earnings, but did bounce back some. Looks like the funds are dumping banking, utilities and specialty Pharma companies. Apple is struggling, only Facebook looks like a winner in the FANG group. Big action today in Transports. Commodities are looking like they have bottomed, which will help other sectors. |

VB no, I hadn't been watching SODA, guess I should now.
And this is what I get for going against my "feelings"....I felt I should go short, but decided to do long at the last minute.
So....my horse had a heart attack and recovery isn't looking good for this week!
But as farmers say, "There is always next year!"....so for us, "There is always next week!" |

My Dad, my maternal granddad, one uncle, my maternal great granddad...were all Ill. farmers. GGD also had land in either Ok. or Ne....can't remember which now. I'm not sure "next year" will ever come for the Cubs!  But I was a Bears fan, not MLB.
