Trump made the first move yesterday with tweeting his taco bowl meal. I am sure the Hispanics will now come in line with that picture! He even said he likes the Mexican political leaders.

I love the fact the media says Trump's "immigration stance" proves racial hatred on his part.
Note it is no longer" illegal immigrants". It is "immigrants". Incorrect. He espouses legal immigration. He and most American citizens have a problem with illegal immigration, unless of course you employ a few of them. Kind of reminds me twenty years ago when media went after Hollywood and Washington politicos for having illegal nannies and house staff and said shame, shame on you! Today these same people in five years will be hailed as the beginning of the battle to protect illegals and were at the forefront of the underground railroad movement to protect them........

Yes there is big opposition on both sides. But, He'll say and tweet anything.
Often, Trump takes to Twitter, a medium singularly suited to Trump’s communication style, for this truth-dodging.
When Family Leader CEO Bob Vander Plaats endorsed Ted Cruz, Trump unleashed a series of tweets aimed at the evangelical leader. According to Trump,
Tweets in article. Not copyable. www.theblaze.com/contributions/chronicling-donald-trumps-lies/
In fact, the truth behind the $100,000 speech fee is not at all as Trump described. The Des Moines Register reports it was Trump who asked for $100,000 to participate in the event. Vander Plaats — a “total phony and con man” — received nothing.

I think that's conjecture which will end up unproven. Some business owners are for illegal immigration. They are the ones to watch.

I don't thnk the issue was his "immigration stance". The issue was his portrayal of Mexican immigants as "criminals", "killers" and "rapists". And his assertion that the Mexican gov't deliberately sends their bad ones here. His supporters don't make much effort to distinguish between Americans with a dark skin and immigrants and he encourages that.

Did you think the left would name Hillary as being out of contact with the Democratic party in a mere two years? I agree about the business owners and major corporations. The Donald wants to stop it. If you want to see job creation, or "opportunities", if you prefer that term, for American citizens and rising wage scales, stop illegal immigration.

Somehow, I don't envision a laid-off IT professional harvesting tomatoes on a remote, southern 400 acre open field, 98 degrees temperature, commercial tomato farm. There is a reason legal and illegal immigrants have flocked to the agriculture industry (for example). The work is backbreaking, hot, and energy draining.

You are so correct on the agriculture industry. I will probably accede to the lawn maintence companies too. Blacks and whites refuse to do these jobs. If we did not have the illegals here, would the job not get done? Probably not the service companies would simply stop underbidding the jobs, and pay the wage scale necessary to attract the help they would need to accomplish the job. I do not give you the building trades industry. These fields have been decimated by illegals working for five to ten dollars an hour less than citizens were making. Even the slaughter house jobs would turn around if they paid the difference that used to go to the people working in the slaughterhouses.

Did you think the left would name Hillary as being out of contact with the Democratic party in a mere two years? Which part of the "left"?I agree about the business owners and major corporations. If you want to see job creation, or "opportunities", if you prefer that term, for American citizens and rising wage scales, stop illegal immigration. Illegal immigration isn't what is hurting older IT workers. Its ever expanding legal immigration. Companies getting govt to let them hire cheaper workers from other countries. Trump is totally for that given his own hiring preferences.
I would love to see a saner immigration policy. I don't see Trump doing that. At best he'll try to build the Wall where illegal immigration has been dwindling and ignore Africa & legal immigration issues.

The Donald wants to stop it.If you want to see job creation, or "opportunities", if you prefer that term, for American citizens and rising wage scales, stop illegal immigration. I don't think he does.
He is currently using a loophole in the immigration laws that lets him import foreign guest workers to work at his hotel properties.
According to records Mar-a-Lago submitted to the Labor Department, it had received at least 296 local names for 520 seasonal jobs since 2010. Some applied directly to the club; others were referred through a job placement service.
Mar-a-Lago hired 17, about 6 percent of the local applicants, the records show.
Greg Schell, a lawyer in Palm Beach County who has helped foreign guest workers sue employers over labor violations, said companies frequently made little effort to find local employees before applying for visas.
“I have seen no demonstrated need to import guest workers for the hospitality industry,” Mr. Schell said. “Employers who want to find American workers find them.”
If Trump really wanted to help American workers, he'd stop importing foreign workers to replace them, as he has for 15 years at his Florida hotels. But as far as I know, he hasn't stopped, and he won't, because it would negatively impact his business to hire American workers.
Trump will only do what benefits Trump. He won't build a wall and he won't change this loophole that allows foreign workers to take our jobs.

This is the same story of the chicken and the egg. Which came first? I agree there is no reason to employ an illegal. It's against the law. Instead of asking what Trump's plan is, ask yourself why Clinton, Bush, and now Obama have not used the the Justice department to being the lawbreakers to justice. Obama is welling to use the Federal prosecutors to prosecute state workers who will not issue or marry gays and lesbians. Why not prosecute industry leaders who openly violate Federal law?
I like you, will be happy to listen to Trump and hear if he plans to prosecute the offenders. I certainly hope so.

Trump's comments about Mexicans were way off base and won't be forgotten by the Mexican People.
www.jsonline.com/news/milwaukee/milwaukee-area-latino-population-skyrockets-b99718650z1-378276231.html
Bean, unless the Mexican people you speak of are legal immigrants or American citizens, I and millions of others care squat what the illegals think. Illegal is illegal. In your numbers you provided, could you tell me how many are legal immigrants or citizens, and how many are registered to vote? I am sure many are well under the legal voting age, so even the 73% number could be mis-leading in their voting power, but does portend well in future elections. In my neck of the woods we do have large numbers of legal Spanish American citizens and illegal immigrants, so I understand the difference. Thank you in advance

We recognize we have been lied to for decades now, and we are done taking the bs any longer. We want a new leadership in charge of the party. Hell, Ryan is beginning to look like a rino right now.

I don't believe in the parties either, but I'll be damned if I want the voice of American government (particularly in the area of foreign policy) to be a bad combination of ignorance and bluster.

Overthrowing the status quo is only good if you have something better to replace it with. Trump is not only not better, Trump is infinitely worse.
