I know the premise is old for this Canadian fare, but it's a family show that's just too funny at times. I DVR it weekly. It's on kind of late here.

I've never even heard of it, do you need to live close to the border to get it?

For us, it airs on ABC between 5-5.30 or 5-6 PST.

I've never even heard of it, do you need to live close to the border to get it? It's sophisticated practical jokes on people. Some of them are truly side-splitting. Look up "Just for Laughs Gags" on YouTube and you'll find some highlight reels from past years.

For some reason I always remember the one where they have a small sample table set up in a mall and have little pieces of poultry cooking with toothpicks for tasting. Then while the "victims are chewing, some one walks up and places at the end of the counter, a cage with a few budgies (parakeets) in it.
