is this a good thing?
And somehow I can't use it or anything BUT burgers. Too strong. And chicken one not even close to the steak one. I think steak one is their perfection! Also they started creamy sauces...YUMM! And those bags with marinades...easy, clean and taste awesome! Specially Pot Roast one... I have one sitting there in a bag marinating for tomorrow.
those prepackaged marinades are so full of sodium and horrible crap for you. If you are working on being healthier, actually making the marinade from scratch is much better for you. My husband has cooked with them before and each time I've eaten what he's made I blow up like a balloon! You say you cook from scratch... so you shouldn't have a problem throwing together a marinade. Was any law suit filed?

I'm a meat and potatoes guy. French fries are a vegetable, right? Of course! What else would they be? Fast food? Silly. Plus there is a KETCHUP! I think they are good for you when you do not eat more than 2 full plates at the time. Then they become not so healthy.
greg, honestly how does your dinner looks like? Few steaks, case of beer and French how much fries?

I love fruit, but i am extremely picky about vegetables. I have a few that I like... but most I don't. However, I am a grown up and eat vegetables anyway. there are many that I don't like, but they aren't so horrible that I can't eat them. so i just put on my big girl pants and do what is good for me. If i ate bread potatoes meat and pizza as the basis for my diet... I'd be morbidly obese. Not if you ate them in moderations. I don't need 4 slices anymore, I am satisfied with 1. No crust.
This is why all diets are failing because people go hungry and angry and later off the hook - whole pizza goes down like children to school! We need fat! Fat free is crap! Blue milk is crap! I better drink a few sips of half and half that skimmed. But of course they would prefer pitcher of the skim.
My eating habits are just like now 1 piece of popeye chicken, few bites of a bisquit and mash potato a few bites. All together could be placed on the palm of my hand. And my body will process it as supposed to because I am not stuffed as a Christmas goose!

I had just talked to many people after my weight loss who weren't realizing that coffee with cream apple candy cookie cereal and yogurt is SHITLOAD of food to insert in your just awaken poor stomach in the morning! When I told her imagine how much food you had just gobbled she had almost passed out. 'I didn't think about it like that!'... Then lunch...then she loves full dinner! And cookie and some candy by TV. Good diet!

Fresh fruits and veggies are about 90% of my diet. I love 'em all, especially the weird one like turnip greens and Brussels sprouts.
Where Loony and I agree: if your body is used to only small servings of the heavy, fatty stuff, a little goes a long way. I can eat three French fries or one piece of cake slathered with frosting and be happy. A friend on FB who's always struggled with weight posted last week from an ice cream parlor where she and her husband went after having pizza at another restaurant. I had to sit on my hands to keep from expressing my opinion. Heck, I wouldn't be able to sleep after that much heavy food.

You realize that obesity doesn't come from the literal size of your stomach right? but from the fat cells that are outside your stomach and all over your body? and you realize that 1400 calories from the food you listed is a not a large portion of those foods in one day. 1 slice of pizza has, at the very least 300 calories. the partial fried chicken meal you ate was easily 500 calories. even in "moderation" if i subsisted on that, i'd be enormous and feel like crap 25/7

When I hear 'I can't live without sweets' - the response: EAT your cake but do yourself a favor...before OR after the cake do not stuff your face with sandwich! Or do not eat cake AFTER 32oz steak! You CAN have best of both worlds. 50/50 or 20/30/50! Just use your brains!

I don't think you know how science works. yeah, sorry- i'm not taking dietary advice from someone who subsists on pizza, bread, potatoes, meat and fried chicken i don't often eat "crap" so i could never sit down and shove 4 slices of pizza in my face. I can eat CRAP in small portions and still gain weight, because it is crap and that is how my body reacts to a big ol' piles of process food and carbs. If you can eat pizza and bread and friend chicken in moderation every day and still be healthy- more power to ya!

My issue? I have no issue. I don't need to eat processed foods and fast foods. I honestly do not crave or want them regularly at all. Never have. science has a solution to the general obesity epidemic ... people just don't want to eat properly. They'd rather eat pizza and fried chicken and other crap from packages than a pile of vegetables.

Personally, I believe in eating lots of fruits and vegetables and as few processed foods as possible, but in tloonya's defense, she IS right that you can eat the things she listed but just in very small quantities. Some of us aren't big eaters. I can only eat little bits at a time, so if I ate the same things she did I would be satisfied with the amount. But personally, I prefer a more nutrient-dense diet.

Some of us aren't big eaters. I can only eat little bits at a time, so if I ate the same things she did I would be satisfied with the amount. But personally, I prefer a more nutrient-dense diet. Like I said I am cooking from scratch daily BUT I NOW can eat crap whenever I feel like it. Today I felt like it. Tomorrow I am baking pot roast with veggies for those in a family who likes them.

If I'm honest I eat bread, pizza, carb-heavy foods, several times a week. Not every single meal, and not even every day. But yes, I do eat those kinds of food. The majority of my diet is low carb, high protein, (and I drink a ton of water and coffee), so that's probably how I'm not 300lb. I eat veggies because I know they are good for me, and they are a healthy way to fill up, but sure, I'd rather eat a donut. If I wanted to lose weight the easiest way for me would be to cut out the breads and sweets. They are kind of like crack!

I mean, she does have a point about your stomach expanding if you over eat consistently. That's the entire idea behind lap-band surgery. However, I think she took that basic premise and took it to a weird place. Per usual.

Given her confession, we may also have a better idea of why TLoony's Produce, Inc. didn't do so well. It's a bit of a stretch to sell a product you neither believe in nor are particularly passionate about, especially when you think your customers are not smart and are all out to cheat you. One sentence that explains so much.
