I am still cranky. I tried to relax with some vodka and orange juice, but that was DISGUSTING. Yuck...how can people drink that? Then I tried some red wine a friend made...but ick...it isn't very good.

So I think I will make a cup of Earl Grey and eat a cookie instead.

I love the expression "crankypants". My niece called her dad (my brother) that when she was little. She's an adult now, but the nickname stuck and that's what we all call him now.

My stepfather makes wine, it's okay but for the amount I drink I just buy wine. You can get some pretty good wine now even at the lower end of the price range. Granted, lots of people make wine because they enjoy making it but I wouldn't bother to save money. IF you save money, making your own wine may not be as expensive as buying a boat to catch fish but it may not be as cheap as some people hope.

I usually just buy wine too TD. He just happened to give me a bottle of the stuff he made. It is a fun hobby for him. I don't think he is doing it to save money...just a hobby.
