On Saint Paddy's Day this might put a smile upon you all..possibly?? A family history website says President Barack Obama has 28 living relatives who descended from an Irishman who fled the potato famine -- including a displeased Arizona Republican. The Democratic president's newly identified relatives are revealed in a study released to The Associated Press by Ancestry.com, whose genealogists traced descendants of the Irish passengers on the ship that brought Falmouth Kearney to the United States in 1850. Kearney was destined for Ohio. He later settled in Indiana. Obama's mother was a descendant of one of Kearney's daughters. Eighty-three-year-old Tucson, Ariz., resident Dorma Lee Reese says she's not a Democrat and can't say she clapped when she found out she's related to Obama. The White House hasn't responded to a message left Wednesday seeking comment on the president's Irish heritage. The President has no comment and is too busy with other matters getting ready for his trip to Brazil and watching the NCAA Basketball playoffs to see if he is a winner again this year. Note: On this glorious and sacred day for us of the Irish heritage I will refrain from any dissing of our President on 17 March 2011 and wish him well and may he find a little bit of Irish laughter on this day that honors our Patron Saint...... Well he seems to like beer and cigarettes so I'm guessing he'll put aside his Muslim headdress and don a Bunnet for the day.

I wonder if Obama will have anything to say on Saint Patrick's Day about his Irish heritage???
I know John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan were extremely proud of their Irish heritage but Obama just not too sure??
BTW I have tons of relatives who still live in Ireland and there is a dim or shadow on this day because of their catastrophic economic collapse, issues with the International Monetary Fund and the remaining issues with a failed sectarian state in Northern Ireland.

Ireland today is praying for an another new beginning on his St Patrick's day and an end to the partition of their forefathers homeland, and that their new leaders can tackle their fiscal crisis...\
Regardless of race, color or creed, everyone’s Irish on March 17th when millions gather to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. Paying tribute to what started as a religious feast for Ireland’s patron saint has turned into a global phenomenon featuring green beer, green rivers and even green shakes at McDonald's.
And may you be in heaven before the devil knows you’re gone !!!!
