Thought I found it .... Caribbean Cruise on the Carnival Breeze out of Galveston to Belize - Cozumel - Mahogany Bay but the DIL says DS may not be medically able to make it. Do I just take the kids? Plan something less intense for him? He should be out of wheelchair on crutches

I second delaying it. There's a lot of walking on a cruise.

Surgery is end of April (tx b4 that) so I might have to put it off a year. Think DDIL is now trying to ask me to without coming right out and saying so. Hinting a lot.

So apparently he can't even do whitewater this summer so he wants me to take DDIL. I think I'll just take the older 2 GD's .... we can do the Carribean next year

Cruises do have short term rentals of motorized scooters that'd help with the walking. Not too bad if all the ports are docks, it'd be more of an issue for tenders.
There were several people with them on my last cruise, but pretty much only old or overweight people.
