Do you agree with him that segregation wasn't that bad? Are the priorities exposed in the linked article okay with you?
Is it mud being slung or legitimate disagreement?

Barbour is just 'too southern' to have a chance at the presidency. Just another also ran.

Libs will pull a Palin on him and trash him in the state run media because they see him as a threat to their socialist takeover agenda.

How does highlighting what he says and does "trash him"? Of course, if what he says and does is trash, that does create a problem for him I would admit.

The man is what he is ..a politician and the ones poorer for it is are the average Mississipians..to dumb to realize they could get the same largess from the Federal with out the graft. If he is so open about this I wonder what he is taking under the table. Seems the loyal opposition are getting their share too.. " "His traveling doesn't bother me," said state Rep. George Flaggs, a Democrat who has been critical of the governor's recent budget proposals. "I know that the governor may or may not use the plane for political purposes. That's what politicians do." I guess one could say well what do you expect from that state but it's typical of our political elect, whether in State or Federal service...and here we are like idiots pushing one side or the other in support of these bozo's..who are the stupes they or us? They at least know what they are doing where as we..... >:(Hey who is screwing with the smilies , I was waiting to use a special one and now ZAP..gone, out of the blue..who do I protest to? Get up a petiton, go on strike, use the e mail mesage feature to formulate a revolt..ot just ignore. mmmmm...ok, ignore. ;D "threat to their socialist takeover agenda. " Ah yes we hearken back back to the days of old, the old socialist takeover conspiracy" we have needed that one, been at least a week now.

"I submit that Barbour is not a racist—he’s far worse: He’s a politician, and an exceptionally skilled one at that. Such subtly coded racist rhetoric resonated with voters then, just as Barbour’s revisionist version of history of the South he came of age in resonates with his base now. The man who wants to challenge Obama for the presidency two years from now knows that by keeping a Confederate flag on the wall of his office, publicly praising the leaders of the old Confederacy, and occasionally seeming to slip and say something that gives conniptions to people who would never vote for him anyway, he’s only solidifying his chances of securing the Republican nomination in 2012. Warsaw..."Palin/Barbour 2012!! Smiley Face! " You got it, think we can be so lucky?
