I am an unrepentant Luddite, but I want to find a way to run video streaming on an iPad to a dumb TV.
DH is able to do it with his laptop but the cord he uses does not fit my iPad.
The TV does not have a port that fits any of my iPad/iPod/iPhone cords.
There is one of those things (LOL at my ignorance) that one sticks a cord with all those pins on the end labelled RGB video.
But, otherwise, I see none of the USB style ports I am used to seeing on my Mac (to which I can hook up all my other I-thingies).
Is there a way I can do it, or is my TV YM-approved but obsolete?

You have to run the video in slow motion. Otherwise the dumb TV just doesn't get it.

I'd prefer to just buy a cord, not another device. Among the 4 of us, we have a Mac, a laptop, 2 MacBook Airs, an IPad Air, an Xbox 360, a Wii, 4 iPhones, cable, and Wifi. If there is one thing this family doesn't need, it's another device.

Itll look better on the ipad Yes and no. The quality will be better, but more people can see it on the tv than hunched around the iPad.

Your phone is the remote control for it. They cost $25.
