Rules:

Long MLNX (Mellanox Technologies - Semiconductor) Same pick as last week. My strategy for this year was to use a revised version of the earnings beat MRQ with recent upward estimate revisions screen to find a stock that had started a new uptrend and keep using that pick until it lost momentum or became too overbought. I had a gain with this stock last week and it isn't overbought so it earned the right to carry my colors in this week's contest. |

My Scottrade Income Tax Statement came in, so tomorrow it's off to see my CPA and have my tax return preparation underway and filed by mid-April. Yeah!

I wish someone had actually told me that the stock market sometimes goes UP, sometimes goes DOWN.....
I've been very bearish lately; so I short a contest stock... the day's not half over, and it's already UP
about 18 percent. Oh Well; the week's not over yet........ LOL

Wonder what's going on with OPK today, deep in green for some sudden reason, hope it carries on.....  Sure glad for the bargain prices in the mid-7 range for several weeks when I loaded the port. This one of a few "news" clips that popped up today, so may be the reason for the rise...... (Motley Fool) "Billionaire healthcare entrepreneur and former Teva Pharmaceutical Chairman Phillip Frost continues to build a truly massive stake in his company, Opko Health (NYSE:OPK). Since December, Frost has purchased, either directly, or indirectly via his Frost-Gamma Investments, more than 47 million shares in Opko Health, and that's brought his stake in the company to a whopping 182.2 million shares. Why is Frost, who left Teva Pharmaceutical to run Opko Health last year, so bullish? Well, there's a lot going on at Opko Health that could turn it into a major healthcare player. The company has orchestrated a truck full of deals to get its hands on intriguing drugs, such as Varubi, an anti-nausea drug approved last year that it licensed out to Tesaro (NASDAQ:TSRO), and Rayaldee, a vitamin D prohormone that the FDA is set to make a decision on in March. Opko Health also made a big splash last year, when it bought specialty lab company Bio-Reference Labs. That deal gave Opko Health access to payers that it can use to drive demand for its 4Kscore prostate cancer test, and it also gave the company $800 million in fiscal '14 revenue to boot. Overall, if Varubi succeeds, Rayaldee nets a go-ahead, and the Bio-Reference deal pans out, then following Frost into Opko Health could be profit-friendly." |

Ombud, at least it got some traction. We'll see how long it lasts.  Wilted a bit today. Still believe this can be at least a $20 + stock by close of 2017 with a couple of FDA med and health test approvals, the next 9-12 months should be quite interesting. www.opko.com/ |

Again, it is tough to run on a muddy track, and the the market has been so unstable.
