My sister is a therapist. She says that she is a better therapist because she gets regular massages, and so she thinks she should be anpble to write them off as a business expense.
Thoughts?

Good try but no. That is not an ordinary or necessary business expense and is a personal expense; therefore, it's not deductible.

My thoughts are that I would be a better wife if I got regular massages. From a hot guy. Who is young, tall, black hair... and I don't have a business or care if I can't write the costs off on our taxes. What? Everybody else already answered your question and you asked for our thoughts.

I get to pay for it from FSA money. True, I get medical massages from my chiro that insurance covers, but they're short and not exactly relaxing.

As Charlie Brown would say, "good grief".

I am a better accountant because I eat food - should I write off all my groceries? I am better at my job when I get a good night sleep - do I get to write off my mattress? I am better at my job when I am not worried about household chores - do I get to write off my lawn guy, my cleaning lady, and the take-out I get?
Nope.
