I was going to say that Rock and Roll is hard on the body.
But Keith Richards proves that theory wrong.
Of course, he looks like death -- maybe he is a revenant or a zombie.

Keith Richards is pickled. RIP Glenn I was in my early teens before I realized not everyone is born knowing the words to Hotel California. That is the first album I can remember Dad letting me put on the turntable, and the big fear of scratching it I had.

RIP Glenn I was small child/kid when a lot The Eagles songs were released but I grew up on those songs and they have remained my favorite band until this day. My mom loved The Eagles so their music was played in my home since I was a toddler. By the time I was 5 I knew all the words to Lyin' Eyes. So many fond memories... My mom and I baked cookies while listening to The Eagles. When I was a 15 yrs old my family took a cross country trip from the east coast to the west coast. The Eagles was music we could all agree on. I don't know how many times we listened to The Greatest Hits Vol1 and Vol2 while on the road - singing Hotel California and Take It Easy at the top of our lungs. When I hit college I was excited and pleased to find out my roommate also loved The Eagles. I am sure we drove everyone on our hall crazy playing "old music" - LOL! I am extremely nostalgic now

Keith Richards.
Supposedly back in the day he was the recipient of a new therapy to kick heroin addiction; a total blood transfusion. He did it, the story goes, and sure enough, kicked the habit, and they made the record or went on tour or whatever. Soon enough he was putting the needle back in his arm though. A friend asked him what the heck he was doing that for? He smiled and said that now with the new blood replacement he could quit anytime he needed to!
And he'll probably outlive them all. I recall reading a story just a few years back about the stones being in Hawaii, and Richards fell out of a tree. I wish I could find a link.

The only good thing about part of our music past dying is the music never dies.

Yeah. My memory isn't worth a damn. It's been longer ago than I thought too. He was still too old to be climbing trees.
