If you have followed my rants over the years about big oil, you would know I hate them. They would suck your last penny out of you if possible. BUT, I admit to owning XOM and CVX in the portfolio. My grandpa had a friend that held enough stock in all of the different utility companies where he paid a bill to pay that yearly bill with their dividends. He bragged he owned enough of each company to get their services for free. An interesting concept to say the least. |
