Well, I was worried Trump's coat tails might be a little weak this fall. Looks like it might not matter after all.

The poor man (Mr. Laffer) is delusional.
Ms. Clinton and Mr. Bush will win their parties' respective nominations. Ms. Clinton will go on to win the general election by a modest margin.
It was decided years ago. Don't fall for the theatrical production in the meantime. You'll become emotionally invested and wind up being hurt in the end.

Acording to this guy, is great that we wanna build big walls that we have no clue how will we pay for(maybe like the wars we started) and give more tax cuts to poor corporations while destroying social safety nets. Way to go buddy! Did anybody ever tell you that you are a moron? If not then here it is: You are a moron! Hillary Clinton won't be winning any presidential election. She will lose the primaries to Bernie just by a very small margin. Then Bernie will go on and win the White House again by a hair, nothing significant. At any rate there won't be any fumble like in 2000 or 2004. You our can hope all you want for a republican win, it just ain't happening!

"Somehow I don't think Congress would play ball though." When was the last time when Congress played ball with this president?

"Somehow I don't think Congress would play ball though." When was the last time when Congress played ball with this president? The last budget they passed?

They pass a budget every year because is the law and otherwise people would get out in the streets. Playing ball doesn't necessarily mean passing a budget but is more like they would have to in fact agree on the terms and share the same mentality/approach. When you play ball you need a team, YOUR team! All Obama had in the last 7 years was just a rival team. It is a wonder he got anything done

I cannot win on where to post a thread. I thought about posting this in the politics board, but then, it was about an economist projecting a winner, and it is about current events, so I guessed "current events". Wrong again.......... I guess I better not buy any Powerball tickets this week either

When posting a thread we often see it developing in one direction while, once posted, it actually develops in another direction. It's certainly not the fault of the original poster of the topic. It's just what happens when the readership and responses start to develop.

It is a wonder he got anything done Well considering that he didn't actually even attempt to bring Republicans in on the discussion the first couple years, I'm not sure that's actually true; but then again, I'm sure it's easier for people from both sides to just point fingers rather than actually taking any blame for any of it.

Did you just point your finger at Obama? How about more info that "he didn't actually even attempt to bring Republicans in on the discussion the first couple years".

Did you just point your finger at Obama? How about more info that "he didn't actually even attempt to bring Republicans in on the discussion the first couple years". The fact he had a Democratic majority and pandered to the whims of Pelosi and the Reid is proof in itself.

Now he's a panderer. That proves every claim you've ever had.
