OK, I am going to try this again. APU, long. It is a propane distributing company, partially owned by another local utility company. Finally, it got colder, so I suspect they are going to move upward.

Okay, this looks like we will have a really frantic week in stocks, with the Middle East in play, and China's market closing early because of a fall in stock prices today.
I would pick a down and out oil and gas play, but I imagine they will all spike big time at the opening negating a chance for a winner at the end of the week.
Will go with my down and out holding, Columbia Pipeline group, a natural gas pipeline utility company.
It seems to get killed with the low oil and ng prices, even thought all they do is transmit ng through the pipelines.
Closed at $20 Friday, and might spike on the opening, but I think with cold weather and a spike in oil futures this week, it should show a strong performance this week.

I still have 2 in the green on my watch list...INTC & NUGT....Intel & Nugget. But the bottom has dropped out for everything else!
Anyone watching the prices of corn, soybeans & wheat? If what I saw this morning holds for very long, those prices are lower than what they were back in the 70's! Granted, more acres are under cultivation, but the cost of everything else has gone up including fuel for equipment. |

Mod,.... I think I found VUZI on David Coletti's site. Over the years, I've found many symbols there; however,
recently not many ..... & I was surprised today's did this well. I don't expect it'll be in this position at week's end.

Don't worry ModE92, I am right ahead of you going downward....
Down 3.62% for a ng transmission company because oil sold off badly today, which has nothing to do with NG transmission.
Iran ready to go to war with Saudi Arabia
North Korea fires a hydrogen bomb off, and oil goes down.
I do not understand the markets anymore.
Those two items alone, should have been worth $10 a barrel increase at a minimum less than three years ago.

Ergo, while the first has been hit or miss historically; The Second has been a rather consistent indication of the full year trajectory.
Last year January cr*pped the bed; the full year ended down, though only mildly.
This year January is off to a cr*ptastic start.
Things could get really bad really quick. |
