I have to ask, was there anything new in his speech? Were we given any guidance the direction this country will go with the war on terror? Any new ideas, or was it business as usual? www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/analysis-for-obama-bigger-stage-bolder-words-same-policy/ar-AAg6sJj?li=BBnb7KzHe was Presidential in the speech, if you like a "good voice". The speech seemed to be simply a statement that we will continue to do as little as possible to win the battle on terror. When the President of the United States decides to address the Nation live in prime time, it is to announce a decision to solve a problem of national importance. I do not think that happened last night.

If President Obama was trying to reassure the American public that everything s okay, he is wrong, America is beyond that right now. Even the Democrats are talking about it. Hillary came out and said we are not defeating ISIS. Democratic Senators and Congressmen are coming out of the shadows and saying things. It is no longer a Democrat versus Republican fight. We want to know what the options are to win the war with ISIS and AQ and when will they be instituted. Doing what we are doing now, is simply not the answer.
Starting today, it looks like we are officially in the lame duck phase of this Presidency.

... We want to know what the options are to win the war with ISIS and AQ and when will they be instituted.. ... Reinstitution of a large draft including females, significant tax increase, thousands of flag draped coffins returning to this country each year for the foreseeable future, establishment of many permanent bases requiring retention of draft and higher taxes. When do you want to start?

It was like a slow motion train wreck. I wasn't going to watch it, but my wife turned it on and I got sucked in. It was the same old apology for radical islamists, warning against those that might not have nice things to say about radical islamists, we need gun control bull shit this guy spews every chance he gets. And all the while since San Bernardino and these other attacks by islamists like Oklahoma, Ft. Hood, and several others; you have to wonder if this whole thing isn't "Fast & Furious II". Just like the Obama regime gave guns to violent Mexican drug cartels in hopes that the inevitable murders they'd be used to commit would serve as a catalyst for gun control, maybe Obama wants these radical islamists here-- maybe the whole "Syrian refugee" policy is purposeful-- to use mass murder to crusade for gun control. It would sound crazy if we didn't already have the information from Fast & Furious where that was the precise goal: to permit third world carnage in the US and then leverage it to attack the Constitution they're sworn to support and defend. We already know exactly how to stop violent crime. Why isn't the Obama regime doing it? Is it incompetence, or complicity?

No, actually my proposal is: Reinstitution of a large draft including females, significant tax increase, thousands of flag draped coffins returning to this country each year for the foreseeable future, establishment of many permanent bases requiring retention of draft and higher taxes. If you see it differently, offer a fucking plan. Or is this Obamacare Part II, criticize and "We'll get around to offer a solution some day."

Reinstitution of a large draft including females, significant tax increase, thousands of flag draped coffins returning to this country each year for the foreseeable future, establishment of many permanent bases requiring retention of draft and higher taxes. When do you want to start? You're over complicating it. The 3,271 munitions used in November were almost double the 1,683 in June, the low point of this year. They bring to almost 32,000 the weapons -- most of them precision-guided -- dropped by fighters, B-1B bombers and drones in almost 11,000 combat sorties since August 2014, according to statistics compiled by U.S. Air Forces Central Command that were obtained by Bloomberg News in advance of publication. www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2015-12-05/record-bombing-of-islamic-state-targets-tallied-by-u-s-military Yes, that is working well. Next.

So your proposal is do nothing. i have a proposal. step one: get the fuck out of Iraq. step two: get the fuck out of Saudi Arabia. step three: get the fuck out of everywhere else we are not welcome, and is no particular threat to us (ie, Japan). step four: fortify our DEFENSES (you know- the constitutional aspect of federal government the warhorses are always crowing about) step five: fortify our intelligence gathering overseas in areas with high terrorist potential and outgrowth step six: revamp our military to become more of a hit squad for above than the 500 lb overweight gorilla of the world step seven: use diplomacy rather than force in all other instances if that sounds to anyone like "doing nothing" then i would have to pronounce you deaf.

Next. MOST sorties come back with no munitions used. Can you imagine 16 months into our response to Pearl Harbor if we were still dicking around with a strategy if we'd have had the same capability we do today? We know the area the Caliphate encompasses. It should be no man's land.

Half measures are a recruiting tool. The solution is no more half measures. Here's the concept explained in an episode of "Breaking Bad". Some of you will know it:

Half measures are a recruiting tool. have you read "Dying To Win"? No, but I know how we responded to the attack 74 years ago today. I know HOW to win. Everyone knows I'm right. It's time to wipe radical islam from the face of the earth. Islam has had enough time to have a reformation of its own. It must now be imposed upon them.

Ah, well- fuck it. I mean I've long since resigned myself to the fact that they are going to light one off- maybe several- over the US. They're going to nuke us first and THEN my ideas will be embraced by everyone here.

We allow muslim countries like Saudi Arabia to export Wahabism- with no consequences. We allow groups like The North American Islamic Circle to exist (Saeed Farook's mother was a member of this pro-caliphate group), we let people that are part of the Muslim Brotherhood serve in government and the military. We just are NOT serious. But we will be. And I hope it isn't too late.

Sleeping With The Devil is a good read on this subject. far from discouraging Wahhabism here, we are actually encouraging it. our relationship with SA is very cuddly, and has grown MORE cuddly under Obama. this brings me back to my getting the fuck out post.
