After here all the horror stories about the treatment, I am not sick, no diarrhea, not tired, I am hungry. I have been getting up at 4 in the morning because I feel starved. need to fix something to eat. I was back out running sales calls 2 hours after the treatment and getting the pump on. I may be one of the few lucky one that have no problems. Must Be my bad attitude. Let's see how I feel down the road. The only irritant now is the "patch on my arm feels like I have a needle stuck in my arm. Oh wait a minute I do have a needle stuck in my arm.

If that is the case, then bring on every bit of the bad ass-ness.

My dad went through a few rounds of chemo for pancreatic cancer. It got to the point where he actually enjoyed the treatments (as much as you could enjoy something like this), they fed him lunch while he was being infused and according to him, they were quite excellent lunches and as the same group of people were getting chemo simultaneously, it almost became like a social lunch date 3x/week.
He had very few side effects also, so it's not inevitable. I think that the worst that he felt was that he got tired faster than he expected.

Good luck to you. How long is the infusion, and how often? I also went through chemo. My infusion was 8 hrs, but I saw other people get up after an hour.

Just spent three days in the hospital, I had a couple of bumps come up on my leg, Yea, they hurt when I start poking at them. I thought blood clots, turns out skin infection. Normally I would not have done anything until my leg turn green starting to fall off, but the Chemo give you a little different prospective on these things . I'm home , everything is good.

I'm glad it worked out. Continue to be careful and vigilant while you are in chemo.
