Once upon a time there was a crude hand-lettered sign nailed to a tree advertising sexual services ($140.00 an hour, is that YM price ). And my morning got way more interesting after that. The best part was that the sexual services sign was painted on the back of a campaign sign for a local politician. Suit, tie and desk vs. Daisy Dukes and mattress - what's the diff? I just love my life of service to the community

donethat-Did you ever develop a performance evaluation for the employees? Did one and she quit to join boyfriend out of state. Need to do another but too much other carp and not enough hours in a day. I may try to work on it tomorrow b/c I think she's just about toast and we need documentation. I did a "performance advisory" on her several weeks ago which was basically "you screwed up big time and this is the only warning you will ever get on this particular behavior" I'm not looking for excuses as to why I haven't done the review, but her productivity is massively deficient and it will take me at least 6-8 hours to review every open file in two different systems to document just how bad it is. I'm thinking about a down-n-dirty evaluation of 1 in every 10 files. I don't know if that's statistically valid, but I do think it will tell an honest tale. I recently gained access to the office email which ruled out the "I get so many emails I can't get my work done" excuse and two other employees I trust ruled out the "I get so many phone calls I can't get my work done". Bottom line is we need more productivity than she is willing/capable of since her illness and hospitalization and she speaks openly of her brain fog and inability to focus or multi-task. The slip-ups are just killing us on social media and, believe me, public perception is everything. Thanks for asking, Tennesseer!

The political candidate on the other side is priceless I guess, except he has raised many $100,000's from the consultants and contractors who benefit from his term in office. You know, here in Texas we often say we have the best politicians money can buy

Do you suppose, if I tacked a picture to a tree, I might make $140 an hour?! I'm going to have to advise my apt mgr of this strategy. She ran for a local office about a year ago, but didn't win. @donethat- Good luck! That's all I've got.
