You can also ask on Freecycle. See Freecycle.org for the group nearest you.
Perhaps someone is moving and can't take theirs. Or perhaps someone has upgraded and doesn't want the old one.

If your that broke, I'm not sure why you would want to grill. It costs me probably $5 worth of charcoal whenever I fire it up....not to mention the cost of the filet I was going to mention that, but I'd be accused of even more assholiness. Rice and beans is a better investment than charcoal and meat, especially if 5 dollars is going to make or break you.
Tell me Weltz is not sounding like an uncaring Republican conservative right about now

Check Craigslist for the grill. I searched for Weber grill on ours and there were tons of them. The little ones ranged in price from $1 to $20 and a lot of them looked new or nearly so.
