I watched this premiere. I have always liked Marcia Gay Harden. But honestly it really did seem like a new ER but without my favorite characters. Not sure I will keep watching this one.

I watched the beginning and the end, but really, they're all ER to an extent right? Or whatever came before ER? I don't remember the hospital dramas before it but I know there were some.  It'll be the personalities that pull you in and keep you there. My DH liked it well enough.

Yes I guess you are right about that. But I am biased since ER is one of my all time favorite shows.

None of the characters really pulled me in, can't even remember any of the names. Except Mamma!

I loved ER in the beginning and quit about the time Carol went to Doug. I think I kept trying to watch it and then just quit eventually.

I heard the Mamma speech! That's most of what I remember about what I did see/hear.

We watched the first episode and liked it. We'll watch again tonight instead of Chicago PD ... which always seems pretty dark and with the same plot every week.  Don't know if it will conflict with Top Chef when that premieres.

I have watched the 2nd episode and this show is really not keeping me interested at all. And based on the low ratings and possible cancel it isn't doing much for others.
None of the characters have that immediate attraction factor at all that makes you want to keep watching to see what happens to them.
It can't hold a candle to ER. Those characters sucked me in right from the beginning.

Them having to take turns searching through poop to find $3.80 in coins.

So many of the storylines are similar to ones they had on ER and now Cress Williams that played Reggie the cop on ER is playing the new surgical attending.

I actually paid attention to this one last night. I can't keep all the names straight yet.  The guy who played Neal's dad reminded me of the guy who plays Mycroft on Sherlock. (too old but looks very similar)

I have to say, I like this show more than Chicago PD ... my other option on Wednesday nights. I really like some of the characters, and I like the fast-paced ER environment. Anyone else watching?

Is Leanne really leaving the show?  I so like her character.  And of course I fell in love with Neal after his dance on Smash.

I hope they don't get into the convoluted stories like they did on ER for the last 5-6 yrs.

I was late to the party on this show but just binge watched the last 6 episodes & really like it.  Sadly onDemand doesn't have the first part of the season or I'd start at the beginning.

I would be quite surprised if Marcia Gay Harden leaves the show I mean she is the main star.
I have seen a lot of stories that closely resemble ones they did on ER. Most recently the temp ER chief being stabbed by a patient.
Remember I watch this one a week behind so I have only seen last weeks episode that ended with her lying on the floor bleeding. I don't know the outcome yet.

Well it was even more like the ER episode than I thought with 2 staff getting stabbed and one dying from it.
And see I knew she wasn't going anywhere. LOL

Husband really likes it and I like Marcia so I watch it if he has it on and I'm around... I like the other ER show he watches better though I think... Can't remember what that ones called? Night Shift I think...
