I had read the book Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, 2nd book, and this weekend rented Girl Who Kicked The Horne, 3rd movie. It was interesting picking right up in the movie where I left off in the book. I wish Hollywood had made the movies-dubbed english leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot comprehend wanting multiple body piercings and tatoos, and living in America means that I am used to straightened white teeth, but it was fascinating.
Lots of violence

I watched the first two movies. I tried watching the dubbed version of the fist... subtitles are sooo much better than the dub. I didn't even try the dub for the 2nd.
Hollywood versions are in production.

I saw the first one, loved it. The last 2 played at my local movie theater again over the last week but I wasn't able to go! I thought the actors were cast perfectly for the movies. Wondering how the American version(s) will work out.

I far prefer to read subtitles rather than have a dubbed version.
I never knew those Swedes were so ...Ugly, It must be said.
I thought they were all blondes and good-looking. What's up with the actors? Although that main character, the journalist grows on you.
I watched all three movies. I suggest you not watch these with your kids or your mom.
