I have one and want to make some mini size apple crisp this fall for the freezer. It's just the 2 of us so I don't want to have some big container. I have some small aluminum throw away pans and I was wondering if I should freeze the apple crisp first in the pie tin and then vacuum seal them.
Thoughts?

Yes- I have one and that would be my recommendation. You don't want it vacuuming the liquid from your pie.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. I don't want to crimp those little aluminum pans either.

Maybe line the tin pans with aluminum foil before baking, freeze them, then fold them into an aluminum foil packet before using the Food Saver?
