This is true. What we know for sure is that the oil patch up here just made a bunch more cuts(wife's friends DH might get cut!), so historically you would be able to lock in the best prices ever, to date - I would imagine. What we also know for a fact; after reading what Mr. Pickens was saying about oil today, he and I were on the exact same page: OPEC. Neither of us thought that the Arabs would shoot themselves in the foot - but hey, this is the end of Islam. He also mentioned how we need a plan, an energy map for a situation like WW2 - and we have?

So then as far as oil goes it's all just a matter of, how long until OPEC is under fire then? We know we are usually talking about things prior to the event, so 5 quarters of crap makes sense. Everywhere but the USA's skeleton krew keeps being dragged down by China at which point Europe comes unglued.... On the other hand.. One single black swan event - which we know we have missed - and oil is back to $70. It's a 50/50 thing, right? Bulls, bears, and pigs.

As Zel pointed out there is no urgency to invest if rates are going to be zero for the next six years.

Might be true in most cases. But when you can make piles of money by positioning yourself for what comes next, talk about a great time to grow a business with cheap money!

Statoil has given our JAL ranch better odds of increasing the skill base for the MEOR development.  With hope there will be a full tank on the ranch.  Charge!!
We are working hard to find a demand for space.  It is looking like we have two unsaturated parties.  Yes: two parties that are looking for growth to fill future needs.  For the long term Labs will be able to fill the tank with oil made from algae.

It is all about money and risk.  The USA can not be without a huge reserve of energy.

As of Nov 2,2015 VAT will be an LLC with the goals of one or more tanks for  WTI oil, light distillates and #2 diesel.  Board of directors voted 5 to 0 on this event.   Lendrum Labs also has intentions in Canada.  It is hoped to have the project under contract by 2016.   The current and only know problem will be permitting.
